Romans 8:26-28
The moment we get tired of waiting, God's spirit is along side, helping us. It doesn't matter how we pray-- God knows us; better than ourselves. God works all things for the good of those who love Him.

"So, was it fun?"

She startled as soon as she heard the voice behind her. She stopped to turn around and saw Aga looking at her, standing outside.

Her eyes squinted, "Ags?"

"It's-" he looked at his watch, "8 in the evening already."

She slowly nodded, "Yeah."

"Sabi mo, you'll be home before 6," he added.

"Sorry, nag-aya kasi si Kenneth na mag-dinner and Unique's hungry rin," she replied in a low tone.

"You didn't even text me-- you didn't reply pala."

"Ha?" she asked, trying to recall what he was telling her, "Oh, sorry."

Aga gave her a sly smile, not admitting that he is mad or anything.

Lea looked at him and she could sense what's running in his mind right now. She knows him very well, she knows every bit of his moves, even the twitching of his mouth, "Galit ka?"

"Ha? No," he denied and chuckled a bit to ease what he was feeling, "Sige na, I just waited to see you at least before this day ends."

"You what?" she asked again, "You waited?"

He nodded, "When you told me you'd probably be home before 6, dumiretso ako dito to wait. Aayain sana kitang mag-dinner. Si Tita Joy, umalis. 'Yong kasama niyo lang sa bahay 'yong nandiyan."

"So," she nervously asked, "H-how long have y-you been there?"

She is worried that Aga might have seen Kenneth hugging her and kissing her forehead. She wanted to curse herself loudly. Duh, she even buried her face against Kenneth's chest. Aga might have seen that, too.

"Kanina pa," he answered.

She eyed him, trying to read his mind through his eyes, "K-kanina ka pa?"

He nodded again.

"Sana pinuntahan mo ako agad pagkababa ko ng sasakyan."

He chuckled, it almost offended her because she knows he is just about to unintentionally make her feel guilty, "Kung pinuntahan kita agad, eh 'di sana hindi ka nayakap ni Kenneth."

And she's right.

"I didn't want to ruin the moment."

Strike two.

"Aga naman."

"Kung pinuntahan kita agad, eh 'di sana, hindi ka na-kiss ni Kenneth."

Strike three.

She heaved a deep sigh, unable to compose a good reply.

"I wonder how it felt like," he trailed, looking into her eyes.

"What?" she asked.

He gave her a fake smile, "Na maging asawa ka for a day. Ang swerte ni Kenneth."

Let that be the last strike, gods.

"Aga, what you saw wa--"

He raised his hand to stop her, "Lei, it's okay."

"You're jealous," she stated as a matter of fact.

He smirked.

"You're jealous, aren't you?" she grinned at him.
