1 Timothy 4:12
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

She woke up to a lot of messages from her friends and Aga. All of them were looking for her asking where she is and that she and Aga have to talk. She refused to read the other texts as they all contain the same message. Besides, she has no energy and strength to explain herself and tell stories at the moment. Soon but definitely not now.

She looked at the mirror and saw that her eyes were a little bit puffy but she shrugged it off and decided to take a bath. She still has to attend a meeting today. The world stopped for her last night but she shall continue today. That's how life works.

As soon as she reached the dining room for breakfast, the eyes of her mom landed on hers, "Seems like the fight is really that deep, huh?"

Lea just answered with a forced smile.

"He went here last night."

She gave her mom a look before taking the seat beside her. She knows that he'd do that, of course.

"Sabi ko, tulog na kayo ni Koi," Joy saw the worry on Lea's eyes and so she assured, "I didn't ask him why. But he said sorry many times. Sabi ko, sa'yo ko gustong manggaling kung anong nangyari. So, ano, are you gonna tell me?"

"Ma, wala. Nothing we can't fix."

"Nothing both of you can't fix? Kung kaya niyong ayusin, you should've fixed it last night, but you didn't. C'mon, anak. Lie to everyone around you but not to me."

She sighed and gave her mom another look. This time, it was evident on her eyes how hurt she is, "Ma, gusto mo ba si Aga para sa akin?"

Joy's forehead creased but it faded soon. She smiled and held Lea's hand, "Anak, kung saan ka masaya, doon din ako. Kung gusto mo si Aga, siyempre gusto ko rin siya para sa'yo. I can see how happy he makes you."

Lea just smiled.

"What really happened, Lea?"

Defeated, she told her mom everything that happened last night. From the moment Aga introduced her to his parents up to when Unique decided to call Roy to pick them up.

"Amalia did that?" Joy unbelievably asked her, "She did?"

"Ma," Lea called her, "Huwag mo nang kausapin si Tita Amalia. Hayaan mo na."

"No. Hindi pwedeng hayaan lang, Lea. Ginawa niya lahat 'yon sa harap mo? Sinabi niya 'yon?"

"She did," she answered, "But, ma, please. Kami na lang ni Aga 'yong aayos nito."

Joy protects Lea at all cost. She never lets anyone hurt her. So, she knows that if her mom could only do something to Amalia right now, she'd definitely run to her.

"Lea, don't tell me you'll apologize to Amalia. Don't."

"Ma..."

"Anak, sinaktan ka niya. And what's worse is that Aga didn't even bother to fight for you. I have to talk to Amalia."

"Ma, please, huwag na," Lea convinced her, "Maguusap kami ni Aga about this. If Tita Amalia couldn't really accept me, wala na rin akong magagawa."

"What do you mean wala kang magagawa?"

"Ma, this is what happened before. 'Di rin naman ako nagustuhan ni Tita Amalia before dahil daw hinadlangan ko si Aga sa career niya. And it's happening again. If Aga couldn't fight for me, better if I surrender everything already."
