So be truly glad there is wonderful joy ahead. Even though you have to endure many trials for a little while.

She was staring at him while he was consuming the food she cooked for him this morning. She couldn't help but be amazed of how matured he has become, how gentleman he is, and how handsome he was.

How time flies so fast. She vividly remembers all the memories, challenges and hardships they have faced together. God has probably seen how tight they were holding each other's hand through the tough and good times and so he didn't let anything break them apart.

"Ma, bakit?" he asked as soon as he realized that his mom's been staring at him throughout breakfast.

"Ha?" she asked, snapping back into reality, "Bakit?"

"Kanina ka pa po nakatingin," he replied and drank his milk, "Tutunawin mo ba ako, ma?"

She giggled and pinched his cheek, "Sira. I missed you."

"Namiss din kita, ma. Did I miss anything while I was away? Well, except po sa kayo na ni Tito Aga."

She smiled, "Nothing much and nothing important."

"Masaya ka, ma?"

"Oo naman, anak. Kasi bumalik ka na."

"Masaya ka kay Tito Aga?"

She wrinkled her forehead and giggled softly, "You asked the same question to me the other night."

"Kasi, ma, gusto ko consistent 'yong sagot mo. Gusto ko, palagi kang masaya kay Tito."

She stood up to sit beside him, "Masaya ako, anak."

"Gusto ko, ma, kahit paulit-ulit kitang tanungin, gano'n pa rin 'yong sagot mo."

She smiled and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead, "I love you, Koi."

"Mahal din kita, ma. Kaya kung saan ka masaya, doon din ako."

"Kahit na... hindi tayo mabuo ng daddy mo?"

He nodded, "Ma, hindi lahat ng hindi kumpleto, hindi masaya. At hindi lahat ng kumpleto, masaya. Masaya na po ako sa kung ano tayo nina Dad ngayon."

She smiled, "Anak, ikaw lang yata 'yong pinakamagandang nangyari sa akin."

He then hugged her sideward, "Ikaw naman ang pinakamaganda, ma. Huwag kang mag-alala kay Daddy. Kasi po sabi ko sa kanya, mag-open ng Tinder account."

She chuckled, "Sira ka talaga."

"He would find the right girl for him soon."

Lea and Dawn were busy cooking food for today's ganap: Gang's Saturday Night Bonding.

"Love, can you come over?" Richard shouted, calling Dawn's attention.

Dawn gave the fan to Lea and asked her to take over, "Lei, can you manage? Saglit lang. Tawag ako ni Chard, eh."

She looked behind and saw Aga walking towards them, "Okay lang. Aga's coming naman, o. Papatulong na lang ako."

"Sige, I'll be back," she replied and walked towards Richard.

Aga smiled as soon as he was close enough to Lea, "Hi, babes."

"Hi, can you help me here? Kasi umalis si Dawn saglit."

"Sure, babes. Alin ba?" he asked, standing behind Lea, wrapping his arms around her waist in the process.
