"Are you seriously working on your birthday, babes?" Aga asked in disbelief as he heard her say she's attending an important event tomorrow night.

Lea's schedule is full from day to night that they could not even spend an hour eating dinner together because she still has to rehearse, attend a meeting, attend a gig, an event, and party.

Now, she is actually telling him she could not attend their supposed to be date tomorrow night as she is scheduled to perform, too.

"Babes, please try to understand. I know. I hate working on my birthday, too. Pero I can't say no to this one kasi it's Ma'am Charo and besides I already said yes to the organizer a few weeks ago kasi akala ko wala namang ganap on my birthday."

"Pwede bang wala, Lea? Come on, I can skip lunch and dinner but I can't miss your birthday. Hindi pwedeng wala."

She moved closer to him and sweetly caressed his cheek, "I'm sorry. If you want, you can move the date the next day. You can have me the whole day."

He liked the idea of what she suggested but no, "I'll wait for you na lang tomorrow. Then we'll go straight to the dinner."

Her eyes widened, "Babes, the event might end late at night. Third to the last akong magp-perform."

"Naghintay nga ako for years, babes. Ilang oras pa ba ang hindi ko kaya?"

She smiled, "You sure?"

"Surer than sure."

"Thank you," she whispered and initiated a kiss which she planned to be just a smack one but since it was Aga, it resulted to what HE plans it to be.

Instead of giggling out of surprise, a loud and hard slap on his arm was what he received from Lea when she woke up, "The heck, Aga!"

"What, babes? Ang sakit!" he complained, gently caressing the reddened part of his arm.

"Papatayin mo ba ako sa gulat?!" she shouted, "Paano ka nakapasok sa kwarto ko?! Ano ba 'yan? Lumayo ka nga!"

"Hindi ka man lang ba nasurprise?" he frowned, encircling his arm around Lea's waist.

"Surprise surprise ka diyan! This is not a good surprise! Para kang tanga diyan. Magigising na lang ako may katabi na akong lalaki. Natulog akong mag-isa tapos magigising ako, ganyan na. Nakakatuwa ba 'yon? What if hindi ikaw? What if it's someone who has bad intentions? What if it's a rapist, a thief, or a murderer?! God, Aga!"

He smiled.

"Ang aga-aga, Aga, ha. Huwag mo 'kong ganyanin. Napipikon ako sa'yo."

"Ang sungit," he chuckled as he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, "Good morning and happy birthday, my love. I wanted to be the first one to greet you and I wanted to be the first person you see when you wake up on your special day kaya I'm here. Don't worry, I went inside with Tita and Koi's permission."

"But without mine, you jerk."

"Eh, 'di hindi na surprise?"

She then sighed in defeat and rubbed her eyes, "Gosh. You are unbelievable."

"But believe me when I say I love you with all my heart and all my life."

She moved to the side to face him and eyed him, "Yeah, I know."
