1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Note: Read slowly. Huwag niyong bibilisan. We are now down to the 2nd to the last chapter. Surprise was understatement. Unique couldn't even think of a word to describe what he felt when he saw his parents going out of the room, their hands tightly intertwined.
It felt like a dream.
He looked at his Abu and saw that she holds the same reaction, too.
To put it in a millennial word, they were both shookt... to the core.
Lea smiled at them and kissed them both, "Good morning. Good morning, anak."
Aga crouched a little bit to kiss Lea's mom, "Good morning, ma."
He then went to Unique to pat his back, "Hi, son."
"Can you..." Joy uttered, unbelievably looking at them, "What's... the two of you. What happened? Can you explain everything to us? 'Di ko maintindihan."
Lea chuckled, "Ma, okay na kami."
"We can see that. How? I mean..."
Aga spoke up to tell her and Koi every detail of what happened last night excluding the kiss and... of course.
Joy smiled and held Lea's hands, "We are happy now that you are fine already. Ang pakiusap ko, the next time na magkakaroon kayo ng problema, pag-usapan niyo muna. Hindi pwedeng magdedesisyon kayo out of your emotions."
Aga politely nodded and smiled at her, "Yes, ma. And thank you for accepting me again here."
"Asawa ka ng anak ko. Kung saan siya masaya, doon ako. And besides, si Amalia lang naman ang pinagbabawal ko dito sa bahay."
Lea's eyes widened, "Ma?"
"Bakit? We all live in one roof. I have to be honest with Aga. If your mom is too blunt with my daughter, then I'll be blunter. I don't like your mom."
"Ma..."
"It's okay, babes," Aga smiled, "I understand tita. She did that to you twice. Pinagsabihan ko na rin naman siya and I told her na hindi tayo pupunta muna doon."
"Aga, thank you," Joy sincerely beamed at him, "For taking care of my daughter and for loving her."
Aga smiled, "Tita, you don't have to thank me naman po. Bilang asawa, 'yon naman po talaga ang dapat kong gawin. You took care of her for years, it's now my turn to take care of your princess."
"Pa, ang queen, inaalagaan. Hindi 'yan basta-bastang hinahayaang makuha ng opponent," Unique uttered, "Imporante ang queen, pa."
"Yes, Unique. Noted."
"Alam niyo, you have been through a lot. Why don't you travel?"
Lea looked at Aga to ask, "Depends on our schedule."
"I can cancel mine for you, babes."
"You can do that, too, Lea. We can move naman your other scheds. I'll take care of that. You have to rest and you know," Joy winked, "Catch up."
"Abu, iiwan na naman nila ako."
"Apo, let them have their honeymoon."
"Honeymoon? Abu naman, ginagawa naman nila talaga-"
