She smiled the moment she opened her eyes this morning. Aga's arms were tightly wrapped around her and she is not complaining at all. She missed waking up next to him. Everything feels so right.

She took a moment to stare at his wonderful face. Yes, when the Lord showered handsomeness in the world, her husband was the very first and luckiest man to have been blessed with such a pretty face. Not to mention how nice he smells any time of the day. May it be in the morning, after eating lunch, after working and even before they go to bed.

"Guwapo ba?" he asked which made her move in jolt, "Guwapo, 'no?"

She chuckled, "Very."

"Hindi mo dineny, ah? That's a first," he replied and placed a sweet kiss on her forehead, "I missed waking up next to you, babes."

"I missed this, too."

Aga refused to talk about the matter last night due to her state. They wouldn't be able to properly address the problem in her state. She cried for like half an hour and Aga didn't know how to console her.

"Wala ka bang trabaho today?" she looked at the clock beside her, "It's 8 in the morning already."

"Meron. Ikaw."

Lea chuckled and softly hit his arm, "Seriously, baka ma-late ka."

"Ayaw kong umalis," he whispered, "Baka kasi mamayang pag-uwi ko, hindi na naman tayo okay. Gano'n 'yong nangyari last time, babes."

"Sorry, Aga."

"It's okay, babes. 'Di ba sabi ko naman sa'yo kagabi, what matters the most eh, okay tayo. Nakabalik ka na sa akin."

Did she make it? Did she really make it home?

"Kain na tayo?" she stood up after saying her morning prayer.

"Hindi ba masakit ulo mo?"

"Masakit but it's fine. The pain is tolerable."

Pain is tolerable. Can all pain be tolerable?

Unique and Joy, upon seeing them close to each other, were surprised. For the first time in a while, they saw them this close again.

Unique simply smiled when Lea kissed his cheek to greet him good morning.

Aga pulled out a chair for her and the gesture made Joy smile, "Wow. Good morning, indeed."

Lea smiled at Unique, "Anak, let's have dinner with your Papa tonight?"

She was expecting to see a beam on his face but she was disappointed to see him frown, "May important gig po ako mamaya sa QC. Next time na lang po. Kayo na lang po ni Papa."

"Anong oras matatapos gig mo?"

"Close to midnight."

She sighed, "Okay pala. Kami na lang ni papa mo ang magdi-dinner tonight."

Unique didn't reply anymore so it was Joy who opened up another topic, "Ayaw ko namang mag-salita nang tapos pero masaya ako na okay na kayo."

"Hanggang kailan?" his voice was bored as if he isn't convinced that finally, his parents are fine.
