Proverbs 10:12
Hatred stirs up conflict but love covers over all wrongs.*
"Babes, what do you want to do today?" he asked her as he noticed that she was silent the whole time they were together.
She is not okay and she will never be okay until Unique goes home or they make things up.
"Shopping? Or kain tayo? Anywhere you want to go, babes," he suggested and tucked the loose hair on her ear.
She shook her head, "Dito na lang tayo, Ags."
"Do you want to watch a movie?" he asked her again.
"No."
"Wala kang gustong gawin talaga?"
"Wala, babes," she replied.
"Ako, manunuod ako ng movie," he stood up and opened Netflix and started watching a movie she did not bother looking at.
He then sat beside her and uttered, "Dito ka higa."
She smiled and obliged. Aga placed a pillow on his lap and there he carefully placed her head.
Aga started stroking her hair gently and softly as he focused on watching the movie.
After several minutes, Lea spoke up, "Babes."
"Yes, my love?"
"Thank you," she sweetly whispered.
"Saan?" he asked, completely confused.
"For staying. For sticking around. I know you're getting a hard time dealing with my attitude and this sadness I have in me. I appreciate this."
"Wala pa nga akong nagagawa to make you feel better, babes. And besides, you don't have to thank me. Mahal kita. And I'd do anything it takes to make you feel you're not alone. I'll be with you. Always," he replied, meaning every single word he uttered.
It melted Lea's heart, "Just you sitting beside me, even without saying a word, makes me feel better, babes. Basta alam kong nandiyan kayo, I'll be fine."
He moved his face closer to kiss the tip of her nose, "I'm just here, babes. I'll stay."
"Surpri– hoy!" a resounding shout from Vice who opened the door was heard inside the room, "Ano ba 'yan?!"
Dawn, Lani, Regine, Ogie, and Richard were behind him.
"'Di kasi kayo marunong kumatok," Aga replied.
Lea glanced at them and gave them a warm smile.
"Kakatok pa ba kami, eh, 'di naman naka-lock 'yong pinto? 'Pag 'di naka-lock 'yong pinto, ibig sabihin, welcome ang bisita kahit 'di kumatok," he answered and sat on the couch.
"Mali. An unlocked door means have enough manners to still knock," Lea butted in.
"Ayaw ko na. Nag-english ka na. Sige, take two. Labas tayo, guys," he cracked a joke.
Lea only chuckled and sat down, "'Di kayo nag-text sa akin na pupunta kayo."
Dawn placed the box of pizza and donuts atop the table beside the television, "Kapag nag-text kami, 'di na surprise 'yon."
"Tayo kamo na-surprise. Ang sakit niyo sa bangs," Regine exclaimed and dived onto the bed, falling beside Lea, "What are you, guys, watching?"
"Ewan ko dito kay Aga. I'm not watching."
Regine raised her brow and took the remote from Aga, "Parehas lang naman kayong hindi nanunuod, eh."
"Uy, nanunuod ako," Aga defended himself.
