After that night, Zhengting started to feel guilty for Wenjun.. but he can’t deny the fact the he liked it, he missed Xukun, he missed his sweetness, his presence, everything. But again, he’s trying his best to keep telling himself ‘NO’. He knows very well that they’re already done, and he loves Wenjun.

But days passed, Xukun keeps on coming back to Zhengting’s house. He cooks for him, he brings gifts for him. Zhengting somehow learned to be comfortable around Xukun again, they’re in good terms now.

While drying his hair after shower, his phone vibrates. There’s a message and Zhengting is hoping.. hoping that it’s Xukun… and he instantly smiled when he saw Xukun’s name on the screen.

From: Xukun

I’ll be there in 15 minutes. Prepare yourself, I’ll bring you somewhere.

Without doubt, he prepared. He’s actually excited. This is the first time going out somewhere with Xukun again after 2 years. When he finally changed his clothes, his phone vibrated again.. and it was Wenjun.

From: Wenjun

How are you, baby? You’re not texting me lately. Are you busy? I love you and I miss you.

It hits him. “Fuck, what am I doing?” he thought. He almost forgot to talk to Wenjun even when he knows very well that he’s still with Wenjun.

To: Wenjun

I’m fine, how ‘bout you? I’m just a little bit busy lately. I will go out first, okay? I miss you and I love you too.

He couldn’t believe he lied to Wenjun. Where is he busy? To Xukun? To making things up with him? Damn, Zhengting..

After like 5 minutes, Xukun arrived and picked him up. “Where are we going?” Zhengting asks. “Just wait and see. I know you’ll like it.”

They arrived in a amusement park. Zhengting’s face was literally so happy. “Oh my gosh, Xukun! It’s been a while since I last came here!” he said full of excitement. Xukun just gave him a sweet smile. They tried different rides and Zhengting is smiling the whole time. He feels so happy, feels so complete.

They tried every rides they can, living life at the very best they can. Cherishing every moment they have. They missed this, they missed everything.

“Zhengting, let’s try the ferris wheel,” Xukun says. “it perfect to watch the fireworks from there.” Zhengting immediately agreed.

They’re inside the ferris wheel when Xukun asked him, “Do you feel happy?” Zhengting froze. He don’t know what to answer him.

“W-what do you mean?”

“Now, you, me, are you happy?” Xukun is waiting for Zhengting’s answer while looking straight to his eyes.

“I..I guess?” Zhengting answers him with doubt. But deep inside him, he knows he is. He is beyond happy. He just don’t want to admit it. But the feeling he’s having now is not right yet he can’t help it.

Xukun sits beside him.. their faces are few inches away. Slowly, closing the distance. Zhengting can feel his heart. It’s beating so fast and it feels like it will come out from his body anytime at this very moment. He closed his eyes when the tip of their noses touched. He thought Xukun is going to kiss him… but he whispers to his ears.

“Do you know that I hate you? I hate you for making me wonder why I wasn’t enough all this time,” He says. “but that doesn’t matter anymore. I’ll get you back.” Xukun finally reached Zhengting’s lips.. Zhengting didn’t doubt ro respond to his kisses. He wrapped his arms around Xukun’s neck.

“Z-Zhengting…” Xukun moaned his name and after 2 years, he never knew there’s a better sound than his name on Xukun’s lips. And again, he feels like home.. This is his home.
