Once Andrew was finally out of Hanji's life, she stopped crying... and we began to go on more dates. Every time I asked... she lit up in joy, and I wanted to see that... to see her joyful smile, to see her eyes glimmer with happiness, all of it. After awhile, I realized that I no longer stuttered when I talked to her. The feeling in my hand when I held hers were normal... and the urge to kiss her lips were nothing more than a wish.

"Levi..." Hanji says as we were on our way to school. I always knew when something was bothering her... and there was something. Was it another guy? I would gladly take someone's life it meant that she was being hurt...

"What's wrong?" After some time and practice, I learned how to control my feelings... to control how I act and how I sound. "Hanji... if there's something bothering you... I can-"

"I-It's nothing... but um... you do know about the dance next week, right?"

Looking down to the ground, I didn't care much about it... but for her... it must be important. "I guess... I let it slip my mind." I attempted to chuckle it off, and it seemed to work.

She smiles, "Well, I want to go there... but, I don't want to go alone... do you... get what I'm trying to say?"

"Do you want me to ask you to the dance? Because, if you want me to ask you... I'll-"

She smiles, "If you have other plans... don't let me drag you down... you seem that you're willing to do anything for me... but I want you to have fun as well, Levi..." Hanji says, kissing my cheek. That's also common... her kissing my cheek.

I felt myself give a small chuckle, "The only way that I have fun is whenever I'm around you, Hanji... you make me feel... normal..." Did I let it slip? No... I trust her to not suspect... Erwin's been telling me that he's afraid that my secret will be revealed to her... but I don't care anymore. I love her... and I want her to be by my side forever and ever more.

Hanji chuckles, holding tightly onto my hand. "Okay... so, are you-"

"Will you come with me to the dance?" I say, smirking at her.

"Of course..."

"Really, Erwin?" I say as he laid out what I should wear for the dance tonight. He laid out this old tuxedo... surprisingly, it still fit me. Erwin also laid out his old blue tie... which he said it should match my eyes. Then, there was a box, a small one. It was a plain box, no decorations, no bow... just a regular box.

He chuckles. "Come on, Levi. Hanji's already falling for you... and besides, those clothes are perfect and following the dress code."

Rolling my eyes, I looked at the tuxedo. "Still... it feels weird... wearing my old funeral clothes for such a happy event... is that normal? Wearing the same clothes from a sad moment to wear to create new ones, Erwin? I may be a messed up human being... but it doesn't... feel right... if that makes sense..."

"Makes perfect sense... but clothes don't hold the memories of the moment... you hold the memories... so, this tuxedo... it may remind you of your mom's funeral... but for her... make new memories..."

Taking it into my arms, I walked away to the bathroom. I was... very insecure when it comes to changing. Hanji... ever since I been around her... she was curing me of my disease. Now... I'm able to feel emotions... to know how to cry naturally when something bad happened to her... and feeling that I should only be around her. Every second away from her is a second of me loving her too much. I just want... that first kiss... the one that every girl wanted the guys to do. To kiss them... to be their very first.

After changing, I stepped out, waiting for Erwin's reaction... he smiled, "Now you look ready to take her out and dance with her on the dance floor, Levi Ackerman."

Walking to Hanji's house, I see her walking out. My eyes widened when I saw... what she was wearing...

Her dress was lilac colored with fake purple flowers and pearls around her waist and from the bottom of her dress. In her right hand was a small light purple colored bag, and her hair was put up beautifully. And this time... no more of that filthy glasses upon her beautiful face. Purple flowers decorated her hair, making her... look like a maiden... a pure one at that. How beautiful she would've looked...

Shaking my head, I couldn't think that... especially not now... I got a date with her, and I cannot afford to stain my mind with dirty thoughts. "Hanji..." I say, taking her hand as she approached closer.

Hanji smiles, "What?"

"You look... very beautiful..."

She chuckles softly, "It's only for the night... I don't intend on wearing something like this ever again... well, maybe an exceptions for a few events..." And of course, she poked my cheek and kissing it. If only... I can kiss her properly on her beautiful lips... I wonder, if they taste like strawberries...

"Well... I think we might enjoy ourselves tonight..." I say, walking towards the school... I have to... I have to... that was all in my head... wanting to do it... I have to, I have to, I have....

Hanji Zoe... I love you so much... and I will... do it...
