Erwin ditched us as we walked towards my- I mean... our class. I walked behind her, thinking where she was from... thinking about how normal she was... but most importantly, how she would react when she knows that I'm not a normal kid...
"So... we have science together, Levi?" She asks as we walked over to the classroom.
Nodding my head, I opened the door for her, staying as close as I can. "Yeah... I think the teacher will assign you a seat."
She smiles sweetly, "Well... I hope I get to sit next to you."
Looking up to her, her smiles were sunshine to me... and her light giggles wrapped their arms around me and pulled me from my very own pit. "W-Why?" There it goes again... I'm stuttering. Was she the cause of my stuttering? Was she? If so... what can cure it? If Hanji's curing me of being normal... what can cure my stuttering?
"Well... I want to be with someone I know... and you're the closest I can be around here."
"Because we share the same classes?"
She shrugs, "Maybe..."

Hanji was staying in front with the teacher as they discussed the student placement. Each table was long enough to hold 3 students... sitting in the back of the classroom. My table was closest to the window with a random kid on the far left side. I was originally supposed to sit next to the guy, but I moved away from him.
"May I have your attention?" The teacher took everyone's attention, but I didn't care. Not unless it involved Hanji... "Levi." Upon hearing my name, I looked towards her.
"What?"
She looked at me as if she was on the brink of sending me to detention... none of the staff knows my secret... I only told Erwin... no one else. "I need you to pay attention as I'm introducing a new student-"
"I already know who she is. Why should I pay more attention to something I already know?"
She ignores my comeback, clearing her throat. "Well, this is our new student here, please treat her with respect."
Hanji steps forward, "My name's Hanji Zoe, and I can't wait to start learning here at this school, and hopefully become friends with all of you." Hanji...
The boy who sat at my table sighed, whispering her name through his rotten mouth. "Well, there's that empty spot in the back, Hanji." The teacher says, "Or... you can sit wherever there's an empty spot."
I see her eyes gleaming with joy as she made her way towards my table. I wanted her to be mine... "I'm Moblit." The boy who sat on the other side says as he introduces himself. "Nice to have you here in class."
Hanji paid no attention to me, but instead turn her eyes over to Moblit. "Yep. Science is one of my favorite classes."
"Well... with that in mind, I'm currently recruiting some members for a science club. Wanna join in?"
She giggles so softly... but it wasn't towards me... it was towards that rotten bastard. "Sure. Um... what should I do to join in?"
He laughs softly, "All you gotta do is show up here after school. We start clubs at 3:45 pm."
"Great! I guess I'll see you there, Moblit... right?"
"Yep."
Hanji's eyes gazed away from him, not looking back at me... not even once. She started to pay attention to the lessons. My eyes never left the guy who talked to her... who introduced himself and recruiting her. Moblit... this feeling inside my heart started to grow. Something I never felt before... I felt it grow as I kept staring at him.
I longed for blood to spill from his veins... I longed him to beg for mercy as he cries regrets from his sorry eyes. I wished that he never spoke to her... and I wish that he didn't exist in the world. But it was impossible for him to cease his existence... unless... he was dead.
Was it normal for me to want him to die? Was it normal to feel this feeling that I felt inside my heart? Perhaps... but I really want him to die. Hanji is mine.
Within my head, I burned his name into my skull... and I was ready for his blood to be spilled onto the polished floor. And the work to clean it didn't seem to bother me. As long as the deed was done... then he would never bother Hanji ever again.
Now... I marked him... a marked victim. You will be the first one to be taught an example of my wrath... you will be a warning to others about Hanji. To those who would dare to come close to her will be fated to die.
