(Okay, so I'm trying to write poems here... let me know what you think...)
Thousands of tears roll down his face,
A young soul's heart set to the wrong pace.
Blind in both ways he rolls the dice,
Unaware this love would come with a terrible price.
~~~~
Heartbreaking symptoms, watched by broken eyes.
A lover that dies, the other desperately lies.
Telling lies to himself and others that the raven would be alright,
Although the purest wings soon took flight.
A lover imagining that the other is still there,
Blindly unaware that he'll soon fall through the air.
Without hearing the desperate cries of those behind him,
He took one last step, and let the spirits guide him.
~~~~
A bitter heart, frozen in ice.
Manipulating and controlling the dice.
He dominates all with his iron fists,
Everyday crossing off a name on the lists.
A bruised soul, who's heart was stained black.
Tainted by past loves, which led him to crack.
They cross paths only once,
Slightly awoken by the smallest touch.
Each day since their hearts were slowly revived,
With each other those souls had thrived.
Slowly freezing over and breaking again,
Their stories come to a gruesome end.
~~~~
Broken mirrors, shattered glass.
A member of the higher class.
Covering up every mark and the pain,
But he knew all along his life was in vain.
Two brothers of gold, this one of shadow.
He escapes with a rope out his window,
Praying to all spirits Divine,
That his older brother would not catch him this time.
Another day, another mark.
But that was only the start.
His new lover was not at all kind,
But alas, Zane Ro'Meave was blind.
Blind to his words and his actions,
Believing a reality of fictions.
Only coming to a realization when the illusion broke,
Tightening around his neck, he would choke.
And to his lover's hands he would die,
All because Zane Ro'Meave believed the lie.
~~~~
Wings of darkness, a veil of lies.
Slowly withering as each loved one dies.
Tears of grief, a land of memories.
Wearing a mask of happiness, he told their stories.
Destined to walk the world alone,
He sought out a heart with a soul that shone.
A non-existent shadow of the background,
He screams out his husband's name, but spoke not a sound.
~~~~
A little boy, all alone in the world.
Frightful stories, all soon to unfurl.
Praying to the Matron oh so high,
His only friend sung him a lullaby.
When he slept, all was well.
When he woke, he couldn't tell.
Sucking the lollipop they gave him,
His soul died, and no one could save him.
