"Oh, Gene~Kun! What are you doing back here?"
Gene did not know how he managed to keep his calm, but he somehow did. He let out a heavy sigh as the high pitched, annoying voice of a certain pink haired Meif'wa entered his ears. He slowly opened his eyes, looking to the side to see Kawaii~Chan approaching him.
Oh, how Gene despised Kawaii~Chan.
He had been alright with her being a friend of his beloved ZuZu, but she had gone too far recently. She had been getting way too close to Zane Ro'Meave, and Gene didn't like it. He didn't like it one bit. She kept getting all lovey dovey with the raven haired male, making him all flustered and embarrassed. She may have had good intentions, but Gene was the only one who was allowed to make Zane blush. Not to mention her annoying voice, and her obsession with anime, sugar, and shipping. While Gene himself was a shipper, as he obviously shipped him and Zane together, she took it too far sometimes. The worst part? She somehow beainwashed the others into believing she actually cared about Zane. Even Garroth was fooled!
After all that she had done, after taking his beloved ZuZu away, she still had the nerve to approach him. For what? His approval? His blessing? Whatever she wanted, Gene would not give it to her. Not in a million years. Well, unless his ZuZu's life depended on it. Then he would do whatever she asked.
"Gene~Kun, Kawaii~Chan wants to ask you about something...." She started, holding something to her chest.
"Get it over with." Gene grumbled, completely aware of his rudeness.
"O-Oh.... um.... okay...." She gulped, slightly intimidated by his impatient response. "Kawaii~Chan was wondering if Gene~Kum could read this... she wants to give it to someone special, and she wants to know if it's good..."
With a sickening feeling, Gene took the object from her. His eyes widened when he saw what it was. A love letter, from Kawaii~Chan to his Zane Ro'Meave. He could feel his blood boiling, and his mind immediately switched over to a genocidal thought process.
"So, Kawaii~Chan.... you must really love him, huh?" Gene asked, gritting his teeth as he leaned against the wall.
"Yeah, Kawaii~Chan really does love Zane~Senpai... she loves seeing his smile... he's almost never happy.... Kawaii~Chan wants to be with Zane~Senpai forever....." She said, a dreamy look on her face, before it became hostile. "And no one will take him from me! Not Aphmau~Senpai, not Aaron~Kun, not Garroth~Kun, not Zane~Senpai's family, no one!!!"
"That's funny, actually...." He started, chuckling as shadows covered his face.
"What's funny?" Kawaii~Chan asked, momentarily confused by his odd reaction.
"I was thinking the same thing!" He laughed, grabbing onto the shelves next to him and throwing it onto her.
Kawaii~Chan opened her mouth to scream, but got cut off by the shelves landing on her. She fell back, hitting the floor with a loud thud, as the glass cups and plates broke against the ground. The shards and pieces dug into her skin and eyes, as fat tears rolled down her face.
"W.... W.... What....? Why.....?" She asked slowly, blood filling her mouth.
"Because, you tried to take my ZuZu away." Gene snickered, putting on foot on the bottom of the shelves. "Oops~."
Taking a good look at her in her final moments, tiny pieces of glass were stuck in one of her eyes. Her eyes were wide and red, blood mixing with tears. Blood dripped down her nose and chin, as the broken dishes lay around her. Crumbling her excuse of a "love letter" into a ball, he dropped it into the trashcan.
"Bye bye (baby blues--), bitch." Gene laughed triumphantly, before the Meif'wa closed her eyes and died.
The sound of footsteps snapped Gene back to reality. They were approaching the backroom, and fast. He hopped off of the shelves he had thrown on top of Kawaii~Chan, faking his worried expression as he acted like he was trying to save her.
"Gene! Kawaii~Chan!!" Aphmau cried, gasping as she ran to his side. "Oh my Irene, oh my Irene!!"
"What happened!?" Aaron asked him, running to both of them and lifting the shelves up. "Garroth, Laurance! Get over here!!"
The two male workers who were called ran in a few seconds later, helping the other three lift up the shelves. Gene was about to question where Zane was, but then he remembered that the raven haired male had stayed home sick today. He was smirking at his victory in his mind, and faking his sorrow on the outside.
"Oh Irene.... Kawaii~Chan...." Aphmau sobbed, feeling hee neck for a pulse.
"Is she breathing?" Aaron asked softly, kneeling down beside her.
"She's dead...!" She cried, hugging the pink haired Meif'wa tightly.
"By Irene....." Garroth sighed, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Gene.... what happened....?" Laurance asked him, turning his gaze to the black haired male.
Gene mentally restrained himself from snapping. Of course it would be Laurance who asked him about the events that had taken place. He would make a great police officer, but that would only bring his name up higher on Gene's list of threats to eliminate. He didn't want the brunette to become a police officer. He didn't want to have to kill him, if it came down to that. No one could ever hurt Laurance and feel okay about it. (Don't you touch my baby--)
"I... I don't know...." Gene started, turning his gaze back to the dead Meif'wa. "We were just talking, and... the shelves fell..."
Laurance remained silent, which Gene personally found to be... not promising. The others said small things to try and comfort him, saying that it wasn't his fault. When he turned his gaze back to Laurance, he found him whispering something to Garroth. One by one they left the backroom after calling the hospital, until Gene was about leave.
"Gene.... wait." Laurance started, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Yes, what is it?" Gene asked, fighting the urge to keep walking. (Bruh if Laurance stops you after you lie about someone's death, you better panic.)
"I know you lied about what happened." He responded, crossing his arms as he leaned against the wall. "You threw the shelves on top of her." (What did I say--)
"What? No, I would never kill someone." He said, acting shocked at the accusation. Damn, Laurance wasn't fooled.
"You can lie all you want but some day the truth is gonna come out." He shrugged, getting up and leaving the room. "It's best that you just confess to him already, Gene. Hiding your feelings won't give this a happy end."
"What the hell do you know?" He questioned with a glare, gritting his teeth. "All you know is how to wash dishes and suck Garroth's--"
(Garroth: Mommy, where can we find a Dishwasher Fairy?
Zane: Oh Garroth, we already have a Dishwasher Fairy.
Garroth: Really? What's their name?
Zane: Laurance.)
"Ah-ah, there are children here." Laurance sighed, putting up a finger. "But either way, you need to take Zane's feeling into consideration with this all too. But, seriously Gene, you gotta make up better lies than that."
With that, the brunette returned to his work. He gave a small kiss to Garroth on his cheek, making the blonde blush lightly.
Gene stood there for a moment, silent and trying to process what had just happened. Laurance knew he had thrown the shelves on top of Kawaii~Chan, killing her, purposefully. Yet he didn't turn him in, and if anything he gave him some advice.
Shaking his head, he returned to the work of his job.
He would keep doing what he was doing. It worked every time.
All he needed was his Zane Ro'Meave
