"your muscles are like, really tight, how are you not having charlie horses?" the brunette asked a very tired josh, who only shrugged and sighed contently as his boyfriend worked the knots out of his back. after the horrid panic attack, josh slept for a good eight hours without even waking up and tyler found himself making sure josh was still breathing after feeling the yellow hues tendons tighten tremendously. tyler figured josh would be stiff and sore when he woke up and tyler didn't bat an eye when josh asked him for a massage.

so here sat tyler, straddling the younger whilst working the very tight knots out of his back. tyler mapped out every single freckle dusted across joshs back and shoulders, finding it extremely cute.

"ok, so i have good news and bad news," tyler started as he pressed a little bit harder, josh humming that he was listening, "the good news is that you're extremely adorable right now, but, the bad news is your muscles are far from loosening and I don't think I can keep going."

josh groaned but tyler quickly shushed him, "I'm not giving up on helping you, baby. I'm going to run you a bath real quick, helpfully that'll help."

before josh could say anything, tyler was already up and out of the room. josh rolled over with a hitch in his breath and tears in his eyes, back arching with pain and fists clenched as he tried to swallow down cries of pain. tyler came back not even a minute later, opting to carry the boy when it looked like josh couldn't even stand without crying out. it took a while, but tyler finally carried a very tired and sore boy to the bathroom. laura gave tyler a very worried expression when she saw her son withering in pain, shortly explaining that josh is having very bad back pain and that maybe a bath would help soothe his terrible aches.

after a few minutes of helping josh get out of his clothes, coddling the boy when the pain got worse, and promising that he wasn't going anywhere, tyler got josh settled in the bath. the warm water surrounded josh with complete comfort and couldn't help but moan at the feeling.

tyler couldn't help but blame himself for the panic attack that invaded josh, reckon josh hasn't told tyler why he had it but tyler really had a bad feeling he was the reason why.

tyler helped the tired boy wash his body, taking his time when it came to joshs back, before dipping his hands in the warmish water and tunnelling it through the tangled and curled yellow hair. tyler wanted josh to be very comfortable and even stopped his actions a couple times to make sure josh was. after his tired boyfriend was completely clean and relaxed, tyler quickly went back to joshs room to get some clothes before coming back.

"how are you feeling?" that was a repeated question josh got asked but he didn't mind, josh smiled each time tyler asked him that.

"a lot better actually, can we go back to my room now? I have a feeling I'm going to pass out and I really don't want to drown," tyler laughed out and promised he wasn't going to let him drown, drying him off and dressing josh in pajama pants and a plain grey t-shirt. tyler repeatedly kissed josh on the forehead which josh giggled at. it was not long before tyler had josh back in bed with a smile instead of tears, gently cuddling the sleepy boy who sighed softly.

"did you know you're an actual angel?"

tyler scoffed, "I highly doubt angels murder their victims by drinking their blood. now get some rest before your pain gets worse, baby."

josh didn't need to be told twice.
