"who are you, and why are you in my house?" josh deadpanned very angrily as the intruder stood in his bedroom doorway, shifting from one foot to another as if something big just happened and they need to tell someone.
its been a full week since josh seen tyler, no words, no appearances, no nothing, tyler just upped and vanished and josh didn't know why. was it something he did? did tyler get bored of josh and just left? those thoughts echoed in his mind all week, leaving josh to cry and blame himself that he's the one that made tyler leave. josh was in a depressed and grumpy mood for the past three days and the intruder just standing in his doorway looking like their lost like a student on their first day of school who didn't know where to go, was the icing on the cake.
josh was about to speak but the intruder beat him to it, "look, I know you don't know me and I'm sorry for bothering you this early in the morning, but, tyler is in the hospital and kelly, for some odd godly reason, wants you there."
josh stared dumbfounded at the person before getting up, putting on random clothes laid strewn about the room, and dragging the intruder down the stairs. hearing that tyler was in the hospital made josh want to panic and break down, but josh was out of tears and way too tired to have a full blown panic attack. the first thing josh noticed about the person, was that they had a very large forehead for an average human being, but josh had a feeling that this "intruder" was brendon tyler told him about.
"give me a short simple explanation of why my boyfriend is in the hospital......please," now brendon was the one dragging josh towards the black car in his driveway.
"long story short," brendon started as the engine roared to life, "apparently there are people known as 'vampire hunters' which I never heard of, it sounds pretty fake to me but-" the way josh stared at him, made brendon shut up and apologize.
"anyways, somehow they found tyler and one thing lead to another, and yeah," josh only nodded his head, bolting out of the door before they were even parked and speed walked inside. the hairs on the back of joshs neck immediately stood up when he saw kelly and when she saw josh, she swept him away before josh could even speak.
"go in there and comfort my son before I change my mind and kill you right here, right now," and with that, kelly left.
tyler was paler then a ghost, hooked up with a bunch of wires and josh felt his heartbreak. he felt like crying when tyler opened his eyes and smiled slightly.
"hey, don't frown, come here," tylers voice was barely higher than a whisper and that's when josh broke down. carefully manoeuvring his way through the wires, josh clung to tyler gently as if he hugged tyler to tight he'll break away like something fragile. tyler soothed his digits through the tangled mess of yellow hair as josh lightly sobbed.
"sssh, its ok, baby," josh just shook his head and clung to tyler tighter, small hiccups slipping past his lips as he tried to calm down.

both boys didn't realize the door opened up before a low whistle caught their attention.
"so," brendon started, "tyler, kelly is still here if you wanted to know. she ranted on and on of how you disgraced the family by dating....."
brendon hesitated, snapping his fingers. josh realized brendon was trying to remember his name.
"josh, my name is josh," the yellow hue mumbled out.
"josh! right. she isn't really happy about it." brendon ended. tyler only shrugged, not really caring about his parents' opinions about dating josh. silence fell upon the three before a sharp knock cut through, josh freezing up while tyler rolled his eyes. he didn't really know why his mother was still here, reckon she never liked tylers choices in the first place, but she'll always say that tylers her child and that she "cares for him", but tyler always knew that was wrong. brendon didn't have time to open the door before it swung right into his face, wincing from the impact as kelly eyed the two boys snuggling together on the bed.
"brendon," she stated as she kept her gaze specifically on josh, who hid his face in tylers chest, "do me a favour and please take this boy away from my son."
tyler growled lowly, looking over at brendon and daring him to take josh away from him, already knowing the fate if brendon tried. brendon stayed glued to his spot, glancing between kelly and tyler before sighing.
"sorry, kelly," brendon mummered, giving tyler a small smile that tyler returned, "but I'm afraid I can't do that. you can clearly tell that they're in love and I really don't want to get in between them."
kelly clenched her fists together but said nothing, giving one final glance towards her son before leaving. tyler thanked brendon for sticking up for him but brendon shrugged it off and said it was nothing.
"you know I love you, right?" tyler whispered in the yellow curled mess, josh mumbled out a "yeah, I love you too", to which tyler smiled at.
"good."
