Yikyung has been going through existential crisis ever since that day, trying to find out the meaning of life since her own was proven to be a lie.

It's been a week and the most interaction she had with us was when she asked for food.

"Wait, so she didn't know?" Hoseok asked through his black mask as we walked closer and closer to the grocery store.

"Nope. I feel really bad now." I lower my head as he started laughing.

"S-Sorry," he tried stifling his laughter. "must be hard for you, huh?"

"You have no idea. She won't even acknowledge me! I know she's not mad, just confused and shocked." I said and snickered. "She doesn't even know I'm with you right now!"

Hoseok and I decided to hang out since he has the day off but has to go before evening for a concert rehearsal or something like that. I have no idea what idols do.

It's feels weird, you know? We're growing closer every second. In ninth grade, we were great friends. We would laugh together, dance together and compete in sports together. I used to love every part of it. More than I was supposed to since all that opened my eyes and I grew feelings for him.

Then there was a huge gap. He left and wasn't there to continue the friendship and so resulting in my feelings slowly fading away.

Now here we are, nine years later, laughing together like we never separated in the first place.

We enter the grocery store, pushing open the glass doors as I immediately start looking through the aisles and search for the one thing I came here for. Hoseok was tailing behind me.

"What'cha buyin'?" He leaned over and looked at the item in my hands.

"Sushi for my roommate. You know, the one I told you about. I know she doesn't like sushi but I do, so she'll go with it." I smile at the black plastic container with a transparent lid, various types of colorful sushi displayed inside.

"Hey, I love sushi too!" Hoseok exclaimed, grabbing the container from my hands and examining it. "I should get some for everyone, they all love sushi! Except Namjoon, he doesn't like sea food, but I do, so he'll work with it!"

"Seriously?" I snickered as he chuckled. "Copy cat."

I picked up another container of sushi, took the one from Hoseok's hands and headed for the counter. I stopped on my tracks when I heard a soft gasp from him.

"We forgot about something," he stared at me, with wide eyes of realization. "we didn't buy one thing."

I glanced at my hand. "Sushi, sushi...what else can we need..."

"And sprite!"

He waddled away to the cold drinks section as I buried my face in shoulder and laughed, trying not to be caught doing so.

"Man, this boy I swear..." I smiled.

I was standing infront of the counter and waiting. Two girls stepped out of the aisle at the far end of the store and walked past me.

"Doesn't that guy look a bit familiar to you?" One of the girls whispered to the other, cupping the side of her mouth.

"I noticed too," The other girl replied. "but it can't be him. Don't try getting my hopes up." She scoffed.

I started getting nervous. I pursed my lips and tapped my foot impatiently since Hoseok was taking too long. I could hear the sounds of cans being clashed together which meant he's still looking for sprite. "Come on...is it that important...?"
