Talia was reading the last message her husband had sent her, telling her about the meeting and the preparations for the Tournament.

Along with the fact that she had given Rebecca Heartstone the case files that Alicia had given her. She had been pleasantly surprised when she found out that Rebecca had been following the case for the last ten years, ever since Alicia had asked her to spy on those accepting bribes from parents to pass their children.

Mike and Kaycee had told her that they had hit a wall, but they were reviewing everything they already knew. Talia had given them permission to ask Clan Heads for information. Things were moving along, and she was glad that something would be solved soon.

The Neci Children were fine, some of them would be starting the Academy next year. Since it would seem that those from Red Light had a knowledge about battle and combat. It made Talia start another team to investigate Red Light and the state they had fallen to after the Red Massacres five years ago.

There were too many things happening, things that Talia worried would lead to another war. A war that had a high change of ruining their way of life, ruin the things that Elijah and Nelly had fought and died for.

She would not allow her father-in-law's actions die in vain, nor would she allowed his deeds to fade away into history, even if she had a feeling it would end if her passing on to the Spirit World. At least she would be able to see her siblings, children and grandchildren again.

The mission desk for D and C-rank missions was going well, it allowed her to go through the daily paperwork without deciding what was more important and what could be done the next day. A horrid habit that had almost been there ruin. Talia had found paperwork dating back to the Second Major War, ones that would have saved them heartache later. Had it only been looked at by Conner's Uncle.

No, she couldn't blame the man for dying. He had died in place of his students, allowing them to live another day and Talia knew that many would have done that. Put the lives of all of their students ahead of their own.

Sighing, Talia looked at the small stack of paper. This she could get done before the day was over, then she could read any reports that Rebecca, Kaycee or Mike had sent her. Update herself on their research, along with the copy of the folder that Alicia had given and wonder; how could they have been so blind.

Sheikh watched as Adrianne collapsed the moment they had arrived back to the White family, both of them standing guard outside as Stanley and Jakob went back into the house to talk about something.

Something had caused Stanley to call the day short, it had something to do with the man who had a message from Shriya and he still didn't know what it was. Neither did Winston, but he was content to give Stanley his own space. Telling both of them that he would tell them in his own time.

Not only that, but it felt something was watching them. But he hadn't had that feeling at the bridge, only at the White house did he feel someone watching them.

Turning his head, he spotted a black bird. One of its legs were bend and it wasn't a pretty creature to look at, but something about seemed off to Sheikh. Turning his head there was a small white fox, bright crimson eyes watching Adrianne with hatred? It looked like the fox wanted to take a bite out of Adrianne, not that he blamed the creature.

In fact, if it wanted to try. Sheikh wasn't going to stop it, something the creature must have gotten as it looked at him with a softened gaze.

"Sheikh, Adrianne," Winston said handing both of them a wooden staff. He had never used a staff before, but he guessed that was the reason Winston had decided to to give them this weapon to practice with.
