Kyoko was glad that Fuar was slowly putting itself back together again, she still had a week to plan her attack on Oiche is Dorcha along with finding something to place her seals on. Something no one would notice, nor would want to move.
Builders were repairing ruined buildings with dark red bricks and anyone else they had on hand. She didn't know how long they would take to be repaired, but she was glad that soon people could start going back home.
Some buildings were just pulled down, she guessed it was cheaper with the more damage buildings to simply start again and it gave them more building material to work with. Somethings, she knew, just weren't worth repairing.
She was glad to see that shop owners, simply moved their business to the front of their shops. She spotted tents sealing food and others sealing clothing, cloth and threat.
Putting the basket on her arm, she walked past a woman's stall and a necklace caught her eye. It had been Amethyst-shaped tear pendant, it wouldn't help her as she didn't use Spirit Magic. But it was pretty to look at.
"You're Kyoko?" the woman asked her, brown eyes looking at her wrists, before widely smiling at her. The woman's meatty hands clapping her on the shoulder, she was solidly built.
"I am," she told her, putting the necklace down before picking up a bracelet with small Sapphire beads on it. Looking at the price tag, she slowly put it down. "And you are?"
"Candy Hollymore," she told her grinning as she picked up a measuring tape and a plain sliver armband. "Carol's my sister, you saved her and Primrose, my sister told me how close we were to losing Primrose."
"She's a beautiful little girl," Kyoko told her.
"Mages use gems to strengthen their magic?" Candy asked her while taking a box from under her table. The gems on the top layer would be embedded into metal. "Shriya said she read that in one of her books."
"We do."
"What types?"
"Ruby's strengthen fire magic, Sapphire's strengthen water magic, Emeralds strengthen earth magic," Kyoko told her putting her hands behind her back, while she scanned the necklaces and bracelet's in front of her. "Selenite strengthens air magic and Amethyst strengthens spirit magic."
"And Healing Magic?" Candy asked her.
"A combination of different gems," she admitted, tightening her hand around her wrist. "Amber for light magic, Sapphires for water magic, Rubies for fire magic, Amethyst for spirit magic, Selenite for air magic and finally, Emeralds for earth magic."
"You don't have anything like that?" Candy asked her.
"No, each Mage has to balance which gems are use," she admitted to her, she had started making something to help her with healing. But she didn't know what to use, nor did she own anything that could used for it. "If I were to make one, I would need a balance of them, Rubies and Sapphires for example. Five Rubies, five Sapphires and five Ambers to balance the others."
"Amber?"
"Amber can also be used in illusion magic, Sapphires can also be used in dark magic and Opals can be used in spirit magic."
"Wait here," Candy told her, putting down the plain armband, where there was a missing square. Before showing her three difference squares of metal, one had four flowers imprinted.
A rose, lily and two primroses. The rose and lily in the middle of the primroses, tracing her fingers along the small dotes. She didn't know what Candy was going to do with it.
