I walked into the facility after being checked for weapons.The room had other people visiting inmates.I sat in the chair and picked up the phone.
"Hey." He started the conversation
"Hey."
"What's wrong?" He looked concerned
"My parents are moving me away Taymor.They know I've been coming to see you."
I didn't want to leave Tay.I didn't think Taymor was a bad person he was just trying to help me and he end up having to do time.
"So what's wrong with that?"
"What do mean?" I looked at him
He's kidding right?
"You should focus on school. I'm gonna be ok."
"But-"
"You don't wanna end up like me." He said
"Tay don't say that." I yelled at him
He just looked down.
"Prison isn't all that bad I'm fine."
"Tay are-" My phone started ringing,my mom was calling.
"I gotta go Tay, my mom is calling." I said standing up from the chair
"Bye."
That was the last time I had seen or heard from Tay.

I was doing studying for my test this Friday.This school had some complicated work.I couldn't even pay attention in class.I was getting a bad vibe.
"Karmella."
"Why are you calling dad?"
"Your mother died her funeral is next weekend."
"I'll be there."
I rarely even talk to my dad since he sent me away and this is what he tells me.

I was talking to my only friend, Shay.I meant her on the first day of school here.
I've been upset it's been 7 months without my mom.A whole year without Tay.He never called since that day I moved.My life is a mess as of now.
"You need to turn up Karmella." Shay said "Don't be all sad."
I looked at her.She's right my mom wouldn't want me to be sad.
"Where are we going?" I asked
"Club."
I got dressed and we went out to a club off campus.I could use a couple drinks.
All I remembered that night was getting drunk that night with Shay and having the time of my life.
If only I could go back in time.
