I walked to the yard alone.Last week Jocelyn got in a fight with another inmate and ended up in solitary confinement.Riley decided to back her up and the male officers beat her with their batons and she's in the medical part of the prison.
I drank my juice alone and hear feet approaching me.I ignored it, it was probably nobody important.An officer sat next to me the same one that gave me an offer.His badge read 'Marcus'.
"What do you want from me?" I asked him not removing me eyes from the juice box
"Look 182, I won't sweet talk you.You do something's for me and I'll help you." He kissed my neck
I'm pretty sure he left a mark.I was disgusted "No thank you." I said rubbing my neck
He stood up and looked me in my eye "LISTEN YOU LITTLE-" Nahmir came over and stepped in front of Marcus, but Marcus pulled my arm
"Let go of her Marcus." Nahmir looked at him with hatred
"What are you gonna do?" The officer said holding my wrist
"I've got people who can finish you right now." Nahmir sneered
"Really?" Marcus had a smug smile
Nahmir grabbed my arm and lifted up my chin.He looked at the hickey and looked at Marcus.
"Touch my property again and I'll personally beat your ass." He said
"That's not your girl."
He leaned down and kissed my lips.I heard Marcus smack his teeth and walk away as Nahmir pulled away.I felt a bit embarrassed as hell.
"Don't do that shit again." He said walking away

I was sitting on my bed in the cell.Nahmir wasn't in the room yet and I didn't have anything to do.I started playing with my hair it wasn't that long and it was black.
Nahmir walked in with a white undershirt on.He didn't say anything to me as he layed on his bed facing the wall.
"Nahmir?" I asked breaking the silence
"Come over." He said patting his bed sitting up
"How did you meet Taymor?" I asked crossing my legs
"Well when he got here he was quiet.Then we found out what we got in for.We all got close and started a gang."
"Why'd you kiss me?" I looked into his eyes
"Don't worry about that shawty."
I yawned starting to get tired.I'm pretty sure I fell asleep talking to Nahmir.
