Tired and sleepy but still with a smile on her face as she thought of him.
She walked with a skip in her step.
She didn't notice the heavily tinted car parked in front of the bar.
A blush crept on her face at the thought of him and how he made love to her.
Standing in front of the car, she puffed up her cheeks and blew to ease the embarrassment she is feeling.
She couldn't shake off the thought of how he made love to every nook and cranny of her body.
The car window rolled down to reveal a very sophisticated middle aged woman who Mary Dale doesn't recognize.
She starts to walk across the street but a voice stopped her.
"Ms. Entrata?"
She looked back and noticed that the woman in the car was gesturing for her to come near.
"Me?" she asked pointing to herself.
"You are Ms. Mary Dale Entrata, right?"
She nodded hesitantly.
"I am Edward Barber's mother and I would like to talk to you."
The chauffeur got out of the car and opened the passenger door in front of Mary Dale.
He motioned for Mary Dale to climb inside the car.
Apprehension filled Mary Dale but she still gave in to Edward's mother's request or more like summons.
As soon as she is settled in the car the chauffeur got in and drove.
The air was filled with silence.
Mary Dale felt suffocated in spite of the spacious car.
The woman was wearing dark shades, so she doesn't know if she is looking at her.
She's not even sure if she is really Edward's mother.
Her phone starts ringing.
She looked at it and sees that it is Edward calling.
She's hesitant to answer it in front of his mother.
She looked at his mother and she made a motion of her hand as if to say "Go ahead, answer it.".
So she did.
"Edward?" she suddenly felt shy to call him by their endearment.
She just hopes that he didn't notice.
"Are you on your way home now my love?"
"Ye...yes...why?"
"I can't wait to see you my love! Don't make me wait too long!" he sounded breathless.
"Oookay! Bye!" she abruptly ended the call and put the phone on silent.
She felt the heat creeping up her face.
She ended the call before he starts saying things that will embarrass her in front of his mother.
She let out a breath.
"How long do you think your affair will last before he discards you?"
"Excuse me?"
"You heard what I said so don't act like you didn't. My son will soon get tired of you so enjoy it while you can. But don't even think about him marrying you because that will never happen. You're a whore that he picked up from some cheap bar. And I if you were you I wouldn't get pregnant either because your child will just end up a bastard like you are." she didn't even raise her voice but Mary Dale felt the disgust in it.
The car stopped and the door opened.
Edward's mother motioned for Mary Dale to get out.
She didn't even have time to react to what she said and she is already being dismissed.
She got out of the car and noticed that they were in front of the condo that Edward bought for her.
The car immediately drove off while she is left reeling at all the things his mother told her.
