Dale woke up to the sight of a man's naked chest in front of her.
A very familiar naked chest!
Her eyes widened when she realised that she's not dreaming.
Edward's naked chest is in front of her!
She realised that her fingers are curled up in Edward's hair on his nape.
She always does it when they are kissing.
Kissing?!?
Did they kiss?
What the hell Dale?
Whatever happened to your vow of lying like a dead fish while you let your husband exercise his human rights?!?
But that was before I knew Edward was going to be my husband!
How can my body not react when we have sex when it is Edward we are talking about?
Edward John Barber who knows all the ways to make her satisfied and yet beg for more!
She carefully peeked at herself to see if she is naked.
Thank goodness she's not!
She carefully removed his arms around her waist.
Thankfully he didn't stir.
She slowly crept out of the bed.
She looked around the room.
She spots a familiar cell phone on the bedside table.
She examines it and realizes that it's hers.
She opens it and sees that Toma called her.
Edward must have answered the call while she was sleeping.
"Toma must have been shocked when he heard Edward's voice!" she thinks to herself.
"I have to call him!" she thinks again.
She looks around again and spot her luggage.
She decides to take a shower to clear her head.
She needs all of her wits about her if she is ever going to face Edward.
Satisfied with her choice of clothes, she goes to the bathroom.
She sees that it is stocked with her former favorite brand of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and what not.
"He still remembers my brand?"
She refuses to think about it.
She refuses to believe that he hadn't forgotten her.
"If he did forget about you then why did he marry you?" her mind argues.
"Business? Remember, it's all about business where the rich are concerned!"
"But what happened to his marriage with Elizabeth? Are they divorced?"
The thought of Elizabeth brought back all the memories of that day when he broke up with her.
Her eyes suddenly became hooded.
You couldn't see the emotion in them.
"You're here for business Dale! Just business! Treat him like any other business partner! He is your husband in name and bed only! Give him any other part of your body except your heart! Don't you dare fall for his charm again!" she admonished herself.
The word "charm" triggered another memory.
Stop it Dale!
But how can she ever erase the memories of what they had five years ago?
And how can she ever erase the memory of him breaking her heart?
