Broken Heart

After a satisfying breakfast of pancakes and sausages, they took a shower together.

And since they missed showering together, it took them a while to finish.

They finished with huge smiles on their faces.

Hugging Dale from the back, Edward whispers "I miss showering with you my love." while kissing Dale's neck and shoulder.

"Hmmm...I miss this too my heart! But  we should stop now or we won't be able to go out at all!"

Edward chuckles.

"I know my love!" and he gets the towel and wraps it around Dale.

"Here! So I won't be tempted again.... for now!" and he gives her a devilish grin.

Dale just rolls her eyes at him.

"Let's go, my heart!" and she steps out of the shower.

Edward wraps a towel around his waist and follows Dale out.

Thankfully they finished putting their clothes on.

Dale finished putting a little bit of makeup on her face.

Edward approached her and stood at her back while looking at her on the mirror.

Dale looked at him on the mirror too and smiled.

Edward held her shoulders.

"Stay there, I have something to give you!"

Edward went to their walk-in closet to get something.

After a few seconds, he came back and stood again at Dale's back.

"Close your eyes my love!" and Dale did.

She felt something cool touch her skin.

She reached out to touch it but she still didn't open her eyes.

She could feel Edward's hands fumbling with the necklace's lock on her nape and she couldn't help but smile a bit.

When Edward finished, he whispers in Dale's ear.

"You can open your eyes now."

It was a simple heart locket with their pictures in it.

He knows that Dale loves simple things.

"You like it?" he asks unsure.

"I love it! And I love you my heart!" her genuine smile at him assures him that she's telling the truth.

She kissed him on the cheek.

"Thank you for this!"

Edward is happy that he made her happy.

"Let's go?" as he held Dale's hand and kissed it.

Dale nods at him.

They went to a flower shop to pick up the flowers that Edward ordered.

They held hands while on their way to the cemetery.

They were silent all through out the journey but it was a comfortable silence.

They glanced at each other from time to time with smiles on their faces.

With Edward either squeezing Dale's hand or kissing it.

They arrived at the cemetery and they are now in front of Edward's mom's grave.

"Hello mom!" Edward says as he puts down the flowers they brought.

He held Dale's hand.

"Mom, I want to introduce to you my wife, Mary Dale!"

"My love, meet my real mom, Catherine!"

Dale noticed the picture of Edward's mom.

"She's beautiful Edward!"

Edward nods and smiles at her.

"Like you my love! Just like you!"
