The blessing ceremony happened without a hitch.

But Dale's parents had to leave after because they still have something to do.

That left Edward and Dale with Quen and Liz.

They settled down in one of the tables away from the customers.

Dale and Edward
Quen and Liz

Dale doesn't really know what to say so she remained silent.

Their food is already served so she ate quietly.

She kept her eyes glued to the food in front of her.

Edward kept looking at her.

Liz looked at the both of them and decided to break the silence.

"So... congratulations on the opening of your branch and also on your wedding!" she says a bit loudly to catch their attention.

Dale looks at her and smiles hesitantly.

"Thank you!" she doesn't really know what to say.

"I'm glad you finally decided to come back and marry my brother!"

She looked at Quen and sees his genuine smile at her.

She glances at Edward and sees him touching his nape.

His ears are a bit red.

Is he embarrassed of what he did?

"But I thought he married Elizabeth when I left?"

Quen and Liz looked at each other and smiled before they looked at her.

"They didn't!" / "We didn't!" they answered in unison.

"What happened?" confusion is registered on Dale's face.

They looked at Edward and asked, "You haven't told her?".

Edward shook his head.

"We haven't talked about it yet."

Dale looked at Edward.

Maybe Toma is right, she should ask Edward all the questions that are on her mind.

That she should give Edward the chance at least to explain.

Then decide what to do after.

Then maybe...

Edward enclosed her hand in his.

"You want to go home now?" he asks softly.

Home...

She hasn't been home for a long time.

Because her home is with him....

Her heart.

She slowly nods her head.

Maybe it's time for her to go home.

"Go on you two! I'm sure the manager will be able to handle things here!" Quen assures them.

"And I'm sure we'll meet some other time too!" Liz says with a smile.

Dale gives them a shy smile.

They seem to understand that she and Edward have a lot of things to clear between them.

Dale stands up as she says, "Thanks for coming here! And I do hope we see each other again soon! But if you'll excuse us, I really need to go home now."

Edward is immediately on his feet and assists Dale out of her seat.

Dale shyly smiles at him.

A genuine smile.

And he can't help but feel the breath knocked out of him.

"Let's go home, Edward!" says Dale while linking her arm to his.

And he felt his knees go weak when she said those words.
