Edward kissed Dale's forehead.

Dale's eyes widened in disbelief.

Admittedly she was fully expecting Edward to kiss her on the lips.

Edward held her face with both of his hands.

He lovingly looked into her eyes and let his gaze roam all over her face.

Her heart couldn't help but beat faster at the way he is looking at her.

Like he is committing every detail of her face to his memory.

She also held his cheeks with her hands and looked straight into his eyes.

Those eyes that earlier seemed so sad  now seem to be twinkling in mischief.

After what seemed like a few minutes of looking silently into each other's eyes.

"I love you my love!" Edward says with all his heart and soul.

"I love you too my heart!" Dale answers while her heart feels like it wants to escape from her chest.

"I miss you so much my love!" Edward speaks again.

"I miss you too my heart!" Dale answers in all honesty.

"I...." Edward is about to ask her something when her phone rang.

"Excuse me...."

Edward nods and let go of her.

Dale got up to get her phone from her bag.

She looked at her caller and smiled.

"Moshi moshi!" she answers giddily.

Edward's ears perk up at the way Dale answered the call.

"No I'm fine! There's nothing to worry about!" she assures whoever it is on the other line.

Edward stood up to remove his coat and shoes while still looking at Dale.

Dale turned and looked at him.

She also removed her shoes while still talking on her phone.

"We already talked about it!" she says as she glanced over at him while he is removing his shirt.

She can't help but gulp at the sight of the toned muscles in his back.

When Edward turned to face her, she immediately looked away.

"I will doctor! I will take care of my heart!" she smiled at the look on Edward's face.

She recognizes that look.

She unlaced the bows of her bolero and shrugged it off of her.

"Bye doctor! Be sure to kiss Riyu for me!" she smiles as she puts her cellphone back in her bag.

She feels Edward's arms around her waist.

"Who was that?" Edward whispers in her ear.

She didn't escape his embrace but she turned a bit to look into his face.

"Toma" she answers with a smile.

Edward's eyebrows creased.

"Your doctor?"

"Yes! And the one who saved my life!" she nods.

"Remind me to thank him for saving you!"

"I will! He'll be coming over in a few weeks!" she says happily.

Edward's shoulders sagged.

He doesn't know why but he can't help but be jealous of Dale's doctor.

"I see..." and he started to remove his arms from around her waist.

Dale held his hands to tighten them around her waist before looking at him with an impish grin.

"Jealous Mr. Barber?"

Edward shakes his head but says... "I am!"

"Well you shouldn't be! I am yours my heart! Only yours! Always have been and always will be!" before she kissed him with all the passion and longing that she kept in all those years that they were apart.
