Impenetrable {Naruto Fan-Fic}

Yuyan's Answer

Itachi's POV

It was interesting to see how adorable  Yuyan was. She held my hand almost the entire way to the Hokage building. I was pretty surprised she even made her first friend, Naruto Uzumaki, the nine tail's jinchuriki.

She waved at some of the villagers and gave a big grin, but she was pretty intimidated by other ones and hid my behind back which I thought was cute.

As we walked, we stopped by the academy just to take a quick look.

"When you're a little older you'll go there and train to start your career as a ninja."

"Why can't I start now?"

"You're a little too young to be in the academy just yet, just give it some time."

"How old were you when you graduated the academy Itachi ni-san?"

"I was seven."

"Woooooow you must be really strong huh Itachi ni-san?" she looked up at me smiling wide.

I couldn't help myself from chuckling at how cute she was, "I'm okay."

"So Itachi ni-san, tell me more about being a shinobi!"

"Well first of all, there are different ranks: genin, chunin, jounin, S-rank and kage. And there's also Anbu who are just about as strong as jounin."

"Then you are strong!"

"In Konoha, you must graduate the academy to first become a genin, then you make your way up the ranks by taking exams. But there are only five kages, one for each nation."

"So there are other Hokages?"

"Well sort of, Hokage represents the land of fire, Mizukage represents the land of water, Raikage represents the land of lightning, Tsuchikage represents the land of earth, and finally the Kazekage represents the land of wind. They are the five kages, the highest ranking ninjas."

"When I grow up, I'll be so strong they'll make a whole other category for me! Oh and Naruto too!"

Yuyan was filled with so much hope, promise, and excitement in her eyes. I couldn't help but smile and hope she would become strong.

We had finally reached the Hokage building and walked in front of his office. Yuyan gripped my hand a little tighter, letting me know she was nervous.

I patted her head, "Don't worry Yuyan, the Hokage is a very kind and respectful man."

I knocked on the door which was followed by the usual "You may enter."

We both entered the room together to see the Hokage sitting at his desk, Danzo and the two elders of the village and about five Anbu ninjas.

I recognized three, one being Kakashi, Hisui, and the other was Tenzo. (A/N: hope you remember Yamato's name while in Anbu was Tenzo)

"H-hello i-it's nice to m-meet you H-Hikagu-sama."

Yuyan's POV

"H-hello i-it's nice to m-meet you H-Hikagu-sama."

OH NO WHAT WAS I GOING TO DO THIS WOULD LEAVE A BAD IMPRESSION IF I JUST CALLED HIM HIKAGU I'M SO DUMB. TOU-SAN, NE-CHAN, NI-SAN, ARE YOU WATCHING THIS I'M ALREADY FAILING IM SO SORRY! I'M A DISGRACE TO THE HANE CLAN OH WHY COULDN'T NI-SAN OR NE-CHAN TAKE MY PLACE THEY WERE SO MUCH BETTER AT TALKING THAN I EVER WAS.

I mentally face palmed a billion times and sweat dropped nervously.

"I-I'm s-sooo sorry I m-meant to s-say Ho-Hokage-sama!"
