A Talk With An Old Friend

A week later

Sasuke's POV

"Well that's it for today guys, I'll go report to the Hokage, you three can go home."

Yuyan hasn't been on any of our missions since we returned, big shame, really is. During that mission Naruto and I actually got along when he wasn't being a total idiot, but lately he's just been more idiotic than usual. Sakura is even worse all she does is fawn over me and doesn't do absolutely anything. I've had to do all the work for the past week and I'm just tired of all these damn people.

I really wish Yuyan was there though, she always calmed Naruto down and actually made him concentrate. Sakura is just useless all the time, she always is, and if she doesn't get over me, she always will be. Anyways, she should because I have a girlfriend now, and I was actually on my way to see her right now.

"Sasuke-kun! We should do something, just the two of us! Not Naruto!"

"Go away, I'd much rather hang out him Naruto than you," she fell on her knees and started crying as usual. Geez, no one is even normal on this team, even our sensei is an erotic freak with all those weird books he reads.

Walking into the hospital, I went inside her room, but no one was there. The bed was made and none of her stuff was there either. I went to ask at the front desk, and apparently she was discharged just a while ago.

"Well now I have to look for her," I suddenly grew lazy to do so, but of course I wanted to see how she was doing and just wanted to see her after another stupid day. Easiest way to find her, just jump on random buildings and look for white hair.

It's very efficient actually.

"White hair, white hair....bin...go.." I spotted her from afar, but she was with two other guys. One of them I recognized from the academy, Shikamaru was it? Super lazy guy who always skipped class, and always forfeit his matches because it was simply "troublesome". Then there was this other guy with long hair who I didn't recognize at all (it's Neji but he doesn't know him of course).

I jumped down and slowly trailed them from behind, not wanting to be noticed. Yuyan has pretty sharp skills, she'd be able to tell if I was close by, so I didn't want to risk getting caught. They didn't seem to do much, only talk, which was good if they did anything else I would have already stepped in. They talked some more and she began to laugh pretty hard making Shikamaru slap her across the head.

Alright, he's done here.

"Hey!" they all turned around. Both guys seemed totally uninterested, but I could have sworn I heard a scowl from Shikamaru. This guy. Yuyan smiled at me and ran to give me a hug.

"I'd appreciate it if you didn't hit my girlfriend," I narrowed my eyes at Shikamaru with my arm around Yuyan.

"Girlfriend?" Yuyan said in as questioning voice, "u-umm, I'll catch up with you guys in a little, just go on ahead." She waved them off as they hesitantly left.

"Sasuke."

"Yeah?"

"I'm not your girlfriend."

"...wait...what?!"

"Well, you never asked me out," she laughed with that amazing smile of hers.

"Okay, will you go out with me?"

She pouted sadly now, "wow, am I really worth that little effort?"

"W-what? No!"

"Anyways, I'm kind of busy right now, sorry Sasuke," she gave me a kiss on the cheek, further confusing me.
