Impenetrable {Naruto Fan-Fic}

Jealously

Yuyan's POV

I followed the familiar chakra signatures of my team, jumping through trees and dodging branches as quickly I possibly could. It seemed to take forever since I was pretty worried. From what I sensed, the battle seemed to be sort of hectic, there was one chakra in particular I didn't recognized, but it was horrible. Evil, malicious feelings sent a small chill up my spine.

"Just a little more," I told myself jumping faster as I got more anxious. The forest never seemed to go on so long until now. I hope the sand ninja aren't causing too much problems. Finally catching up, I averted my attention to Sakura who was pinned against a tree with what looked like some sort of giant sand hand, she was knocked out but seemed to be in pretty bad shape. What I saw next was pretty hideous, I didn't know if it was a cat, or raccoon.

Catcoon!

Then I looked down to see Naruto and Sasuke on a tree branch arguing, both also in bad shape. Sasuke, however, had several marks on his face and arm.

Was that the cursed seal? Did he actually activate it? Stupid Sasuke, activates it even after he swears he wouldn't. I jumped down to Naruto and Sasuke to get a quick update on what was happening.

"You two look great!" I teased despite our situation.

"Yu-chan!" "Yuyan?!" Naruto and Sasuke shouted. "Good thing you can back!" Naruto beamed.

"What's going on? What is th-"

"What are you doing here?!" Sasuke shouted angrily. It made me sort of angry that he wanted to be overprotective even in a situation like this where he pretty much needed the help.

"I'm here to help!"

"It's too dangerous, you'll get hurt."

"Huh? So you want me to just leave you here for this guy to handle?! You really think I would do that Sasuke?!"

"Sasuke is right Yu-chan, look at Sakura-chan she's hurt and I don't want you getting hurt too, remember what I said!" I knew what Naruto meant, about seeing the team as his family and wanting to protect us even if he had to die. But it's not like I was gonna let him die.

"You're both idiots! I wouldn't leave even if I was on my last breath, so stop complaining, we have a mission to do get that through your thick skulls alright?! Sheesh!" I shouted back, both looked at me pretty surprised that I raised my voice.

"No way," Sasuke began to get back up, Naruto and I stared at him, I sort of glared. "I want you two to get Sakura and take her out of here as fast as possible, I might be able to hold the guy for a while."

"You.." Naruto started, but was interrupted by Sasuke.

"Never again.." he stood up straight and proud, revealing the Uchiha crest on his back making him appear more great and confident. "I've already lost everything once, I don't ever want to watch those dear to me die right before my eyes." He slightly turned his head and looked at me from the corner of his eye, "I almost felt it again, and there's no way I truly want to experience it."

Now, Naruto and I both knew how Sasuke felt, our questions whether how he viewed the team was answered. He cared too, just as much as we did.

It touched me, it really did, but I still wasn't going to let him go down for me or for the team. "Didn't I tell you I'm not going to die because I have to watch over you two? Remember that huh?!" I shouted at both Naruto and Sasuke, "Naruto! Don't you still want to become Hokage? What about everyone acknowledging you, don't forget you still have dreams!"
