A Big Problem

Yuyan's POV

Gosh don't these people know it's rude to stare right at people?! If the first part of the chuunin exam was a staring contest, we'd have plenty of chuunin this year.

It was pretty exciting though, all of the ten rookies from the academy were gathered here today, very big deal. It really was. I wonder how many of us would make chuunin? We were a lively group though, attracted lots of attention from all these foreign villages who clearly all had staring problems.

I swear they were trying to blow us up with their heads or something, it was getting ridiculous!

"Hey! You guys should be more quiet!" we turned to a Leaf ninja with white hair in a ponytail and glasses, he seemed to have a good head on his shoulders, or seemed reliable, "screaming like school girls..geez, this isn't a picnic." Maybe a little rude.

"Who're you sir?" I asked.

"I'm Kabuto," he greeted, I shook his hand, "you genin really are something this year. I think I'll share some information with you cute rookies." He whipped out a couple of cards and laid them out on the ground we all gathered around and carefully watched as he showed us the layout for this year's participants in the chuunin exams. Kabuto held quite a lot if information, he must be pretty smart.

"Pretty intense stuff huh?" Shikamaru asked.

"Yeah, sort of gets you pumped up doesn't it?" I answered.

"Nah, this is way too troublesome, I don't even know why I'm involved in this in the first place."

"Ah, come on this can be fun! We can all celebrate once we make chuunin!"

He sighed as usual, I think I got my sighing habit from him actually, "can I just sleep through thus and become chuunin?"

I sighed back, "I wish." We laughed at the thought, geez, if only climbing up the ninja ranks was that easy.

"You rookies from Konoha are quite the problem, especially your four man team," I turned when he spoke to Sasuke.

"What do you mean?"

"First if all, you have the final Uchiha, and..." he walked up to me and handed me a card with my information on it, my eyes widened when I saw it, "we also have the young Princess Yuyan here." The card showed a radar graph on our abilities, I was really surprised to see most of my stats were maxed out. I'm not that good, I'd say I was only good enough to be a chuunin. I looked up to him he smiled a bit, but it wasn't a friendly smile but a rather lustful one. Very creepy.

"After so much time in hiding, a Hane finally shows up at the gates of Konoha. A real gift from the gods she was. The strong, skillful, intelligent, fierce Hane princess, is also desired by many," I stared down at the card again and cringed my face. How did this guy even know who I was? There were very few people who knew the reality of my identity, I had never revealed it and I doubt those people would either, so how did he know?

"Not to mention, beautiful," I flinched when I barely felt his hand touch my face only to be ripped away by my overprotective boyfriend.

For once I'm thankful he did so.

"Get your damn hands OFF my girlfriend," he gripped his wrist hard enough to hear. "Sorry, didn't mean to get carried away," Kabuto apologized, he just pushed him away roughly.

Sasuke quickly turned to me and put his hands on my shoulders, "are you okay? Did he do anything else to you?" I just laughed and shook my head, "sorry to worry you, I was just lost in thought."
