Yuyan'sPOV

The whole team stood at the edge of a cliff where we had buried Zabuza and Haku. I was really sad to hear how both died, but I was also glad that both died noble deaths. At the end, Zabuza knew just how much he cared about Haku. I hoped with my whole heart that they both met again in the afterlife.

"Kakashi-sensei, were those two really right about being ninjas?" Sakura asked.

"Ninjas cannot pursue their own dreams, we only exist to become a tool for our village. It's the same in the Leaf," he answered.

"You know what? I don't like it!" Naruto disagreed.

"What about you Kakashi-sensei, do you believe that?" I asked.

"Every ninja has to live while dealing with that issue, just like Zabuza and that boy did." I sighed, I didn't really like the idea of a 'ninja' since I myself had goals to achieve and dreams I wanted to pursue.

"Okay, I just decided! I'm gonna be a ninja in my own way!" Naruto announced. Sakura shouted at him for being an 'idiot' and everyone began to walk towards the bridge to leave, but I stayed there a little longer staring at Haku's final resting place.

"Thank you Haku."

"You know, normal people don't thank their enemies." Sasuke teased.

"He's the reason we're here right now, because he was so kind he was killed. I just...wish I couldn't have met him as an enemy." Sasuke took my hand and held it.

"You're just as bad, you're way too nice, keep it up and you'll end up like him."

"You should say thanks too, you're alive because of him!" I scolded him.

"Well I can't thank him, he hurt you. And I won't forgive anyone who does."

I covered up Naruto being the one who hurt me saying that it was Haku. Naruto didn't remember sinking his claws into me, and I didn't want anyone to be scared of being near him, so that was best. Anyways, I knew Naruto didn't mean to hurt me, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little scared to be with him.

"You know, I think I'm going to be a ninja my own way too!"

He sighed, "let's go everyone's waiting." We both walked down to the bridge where everyone was saying their goodbyes and farewells. Naruto and Inari were crying for each other after saying goodbye.

And so, after a long and tiring mission, we were finally headed home to Konoha. I held onto my shirt where my wound was, it had hurt a little today. "Hey are you okay Yu-chan?" I flinched a little when Naruto suddenly appeared next to me. "Y-yeah I'm fine."

Sasuke walked in front of me and put his hand over mine on the my shirt, making me blush. "Does it hurt at all?" I just nodded my head. "Let me take care of that," he crouched down in front of me, I proceeded to climb on his back.

I watched Naruto as he happily skipped through the bridge waving his hands in the air. It was the normal Naruto, my best friend, the knucklehead ninja, the always cheerful and optimistic Naruto. That was the real him, I wouldn't allow one incident to make me think otherwise. I was honestly confused though, I felt like Naruto hurt me without a second thought, as if not even caring enough to remember he did that. However, I couldn't let my selfishness get in the way, I made him a promise and I planned of fulfilling it the whole way through!
