Yuyan's POV

"Geez this guy is so troublesome," Shikamaru walked into Naruto's hospital room, "how long has he been out?"

"It's been three days already, he totally wore himself out this time," I chuckled.

"Too much training?" he sat down in a chair next to me besides his bed.

"Yeah, he's been training nonstop to become strong enough to beat his opponent for the third round. Oh, by the way congratulations on making it yourself!" I gave him a thumbs up and my signature smile.

He sighed and scratched the back of his head seeming to blush just a tiny bit, "it was nothing great really.."

"It should be, I myself didn't make it to even the prelims even though my whole team did," I said disappointingly.

"Ah, don't get so down about it, that was only the circumstances. And how are you doing after the surgery and all that, everyone was pretty shaken up when they heard you were just about dead."

I laughed awkwardly, "well as you can see, I'm doing great! The surgery was a success, so I'm all good now."

"Considering all the damage you took to your back I'm surprised you're able to move so efficiently right now."

"Seconds pleeeeeease!" Naruto groggily shouted in his sleep.

Shikamaru and I looked at each other then laughed at his cravings even in his sleep. Naruto was so silly! "This guy wants ramen every time of the day, this must be a new medical condition or something." I averted my gaze back to Naruto and my expression seemed to soften as he quietly slept there.

"You really care about him don't you? Even though he's sort of an idiot."

I brought my hand to my mouth and chuckled quietly, "yeah of course, he's my best friend and I believe in him and want to watch over him and see him succeed and make his dreams come true!"

"Heh, Hokage huh? Can't believe he would pick such a farfetched dream like that."

"I still think he can make it."

"Uuuugh, shut up Sasuke teme!" Naruto waved his hand as if to punch someone, "I'll beat your ass!"

I shook my head, "even in his sleep he wants to beat him, guess that's rivalry for ya."

"Rivals are troublesome, I say if you can't beat him, befriend him."

"I'll protect you Sakura-chaaaan!" Naruto began to drool, I just sighed and continued.

"Sasuke and Naruto are friends, they just don't show it to each other."

"Yu-chan is..." he sighed and paused for a moment, "so perfect." I felt my face flush a bit at that.

"Hehehe guess we know who he likes."

I sighed, "nah, can't be. Naruto and I are the very best of friends!" I got up from the chair, "I think he'll be awake soon so I'm going to go get him some ramen from Ichiraku to congratulate him!"

"Alright, I'll stay here for now. It's nice talking to you again, we haven't really spoken in a long time since you're too into your best friend and boyfriend to be a social butterfly," he teased.

"Is that so?" I chuckled, "sorry about that, we'll hang out soon! Anyways, thanks for visiting Naruto, I'm sure he'll appreciate it!" I waved off and went out the door.

Instead of training with Naruto, for the last couple of days I have been a hospital nurse in training. It's sorta fun actually, people are really nice most of the time , some were mean and rude, typical people not getting their meds. This one guy wanted punched me too! I'm off my shift right noe so that's why I decided to visit Naruto.
