Yuyan's POV

"Can't be late for my first day!" I would have to go talk to the Hokage about some academy stuff before I started, so I still had to go early anyways. I was really excited! Naruto and Sasuke always talked about the academy when we were kids, I wondered how they were doing.

Maybe I'd meet new people besides them. Of course I wanted to meet new people but Naruto and Sasuke would always hold a special place in my heart. Hopefully people don't think I'm ugly or have weird hair.

I put on a pretty simple outfit, a long sleeved, mid thigh navy blue dress designed with maroon colored flowers at the bottom and a white belt along with black stockings and blue ninja sandals. Now like I said, I look horrible in bright colors, the only color I didn't look bad in was white. I took one final look in the mirror and felt like something was missing.

"That's it!" I quickly walked to my room and placed the feathered accessory I had been given to by my master. I placed them in my hair so that they faced a downward position. I looked once again, the golden feathers had completed it all! "Let's do this!"

Sasuke's POV

I woke up feeling the same as always, nothing in particular just a little lazy. I did my morning routine, not much, just took a shower, changed, ate breakfast. Nothing interesting as always. I would go to the academy, not learning anything I didn't already know.

As I was heading out however, I caught myself looking at a certain picture. I was small, maybe around six or seven years old next to the prettiest girl I had seen in my whole lifetime. We both had wide smiles on our faces and had our arms around each other. Where had she gone? She too disappeared that day, but I never knew where. I didn't doubt that that man had killed her too, he took everything away, he wouldn't even spare the girl who adored him more than anything else.

Still with that in mind, I walked outside my apartment to head to the academy. It seemed like an unusually nice day, but it didn't matter anyways it's not like anything good was gonna happen anyways. I'd just go to class then go train and eat then sleep and repeat the same process everyday until I became a ninja of course.

It was awfully nice today, it was strange of my to think so much about it, was something going to happen?

And as usual, I'm one of the first ones in the class and sat in my usual spot as I waited for classes to start. Shikamaru and Choji were usually there talking about who knows what and I honestly didn't care. Other people were with their friends chatting away.

"Sasuke-kun! Mind if I sit next to you?" And so it begins. "Move it billboard brow, I'm sitting next to Sasuke-kun!"

"Shut it Ino pig!" they went on and on and on about who would sit next to me. I just really wish they would shut up, who even cared about relationships and crushes anyways, we're suppose to be training to be shinobi, not for this. Everyone eventually took a seat as Iruka walked into the room. I had planned on ignoring him until he announced, "Alright students! Today we will be having a new student in our class! Now this student is a bit more advanced, so she'll be graduating with this current class, so please welcome your new classmate!"

I didn't pay attention to who walked through the doors, it most likely wasn't everyone important, so I didn't care who it was. "U-umm hello," this voice, it was awfully familiar, kind and soft, "it's nice to meet you all, I'm Yuyan Hane." I quickly turned around.

I could have sworn my heart skipped a beat, it was her. It was really her. The same long, white hair, the same large blue eyes, the same shy smile she gave to everyone, she was really here it was her. My heart was racing, my whole body tensed, I couldn't move a muscle or say a word, I just stared at her wide eyed mouth open, most likely looking more pathetic than I ever had my whole life.
