Significant Other

The next morning

Yuyan's POV

"Yu-chan!" someone was shaking me in my bed. "Yu-chan get up! You have to see this!" I'm pretty sure this voice was Naruto.

"YUUUUU-CHAAAAAAN!" he shouted.

"Naruto, I'm trying to sleep, can't this wait?"

"No! It can't! I swear it's important! Just get dressed and wear something nice! Hurry up, hurry, hurry, hurry!" he ran out of my room waving his arms in the air. I put the blankets back over my head, continuing to sleep.

It was probably some new limited edition ramen at Ichiraku's or something, I'd just buy him some later, but it was too early for this, and we had no missions for today. Naruto ran back in the room and pulled me out of bed and took me inside my giant closet and sat me down on the couch.

"Okay, okay, umm..." he began to skim through my dresses, I was quite confused and apart from that, tired.

I rubbed my eyes and yawned, "Naruto what is this about? It better be good since you're waking me up for it."

"Hmm he use to say he liked how you looked in dresses..." he muttered then swiftly turned to look at me, "have you showered lately?"

"Y-yeah, last night before I went to bed, why do you want to know this?" He ran up to me and smelled my hair.

"Okay, that's good he likes that smell too."

"Naruto what are you-"

"He said you looked like an angel when you were dressed in white... he liked it when you had your hair in a braid too... Yu-chan! Put your hair into a braid!" he ordered pointing at me. Naruto continued to look through my dresses while I put my hair into a braid, still confused.

"This one is perfect!" he whipped out a white dress, another I had never worn. It was a white knee length, sleeveless dress with a high collar. It had small holes, creating a flowered design throughout the whole dress, there was a very small zipper through the front ranging from the waist all the way up to the collar, and along with it there was a white belt at the waist. "Wear this Yu-chan!" he said smiling excitedly.

He handed my my necklace and also my feathered accessory, aww he noticed I wore them all the time. "Naruto what's this about?" He continued to search through my shoes, "oh! These are nice! Here, wear these!" He ran up to me and handed me flat, black strappy sandals (like the ones Hinata wears in part 2) then pushed me back into my room.

I'm so confused right now.

I sweat dropped and my eye was starting to nervously twitch, "just get changed into that, you'll see!"

Well, I'm already up, might as well see what's actually going on. I changed into the clothes Naruto gave me then looked in the mirror, I did not think I looked like an angel. I kind of have low self-esteem, or I tend to put myself down a lot. I don't think I'm all that pretty even if lots of people tell me so, compliments always made me really flustered. Most of it has to do with my scars, they're just horrible and disgusting.

I sighed and walked out back into the closet where Naruto was anxiously waiting, when he saw me his eyes widened and he gave me a big smile, "wow Yu-chan, you look suuuper beautiful!!" I felt a small blush creep up my face, so I just looked away from him.

"No time to waste, let's go!" he grabbed my hand and started running with me through the village, it was awfully early for so many villagers to be out, it's as if everyone were gathered to see a newly appointed Hokage or something. They were all whispering stuff and looked really confused.
