it's the last day of term
it's some girl's birthday party that we've both been invited too
someone asked someone out
and she said to me
"i'm getting you two together next."
and we both shook our heads and laughed
mainly because there was a story behind that now
because you knew i like(d?) you
and i knew you would never like me.
but anyway
you avoided me the whole night
subtly
but of course i had to be born overly fucking observant
and i broke again.
there wasn't even any alcohol.
