i was out with family on new year's eve.
i didn't really want to be there though
i wanted to talk to you.
and you did too.
so i snuck upstairs and we made new year's resolutions
"this year, i wanna have a girlfriend."
"cute."
"i mean i've never had a girlfriend, so.."
"i wanna drink more water."
maybe then i can drown myself in it.
my new year's resolution is to make you understand how i feel
or get over you
neither will happen though.
