We come together again today
God surely putting us to the test.
Please help guide us yet again
While we now lay another child to rest.
Time to remember only the good
The bad is in the past
Our hearts forever torn apart
Another child taken way too fast.
Please help us be strong and keep it together
Remembering why we are here
Not to fight, bicker, rage or hate
But enjoy that heaven is near
He's now begun his journey
To comfort and peace
Rest easy dear boy
For you're finally at ease.
No more heartache shall you feel
No more struggle day to day
No more confusion, hurt and sorrow
No more agony, do we pray.
Only light and rainbows
Sunshine and laughter
Only sweet dreams
From here on after
We love you tomorrow
While still loving you today
We love you forever
While missing you every day.
Fly with the angels
Be one with the earth
Remember you've always been truly loved
Every minute, every day, every moment since birth.
