There was a day when you were mine
This much I know is true
Now you’re gone, don’t know for how long
My life now inconsolably blue
I know your fears, I’ve felt your pain
Still there is no cure
I’ll continue waiting for you to come home
Because my love is pure
How could it not be, have you met yourself
Amazing, beautiful and brave
I miss seeing all of that about you
More since you’ve fell in a grave
Filled with lies and sorrow, betrayals and hurt
A hole so deadly, nothing compares
Digging your way out seems always impossible
Searching for light, I know you don’t dare
I’ll continue to wait, praying and hoping
Someday the light will consume
I’ll continue to love, for eternity and beyond
Because my dear Red, I’ll never be whole without you
