Another long hour, another long day
God how I pray, your pain has gone away.
You were loved, oh so much, even though you said "I don't believe you",
There was never another like you, I know we all knew.
I hope you feel it now, I pray you know it too.
You were such a ray of sunshine, even on cloudy days,
You always had a way of making everyone laugh,
Now you're in the heavens and our hearts are broken in half.
Be at peace my dear kiddo, let the angels wrap you up tight,
Now you'll always be free, living in that beautiful light.
I know you're watching over us all, and I know that is many,
I know you can now rest and feel all our love for you, will feel it plenty.
Thank you dear son for being in all of our lives,
The memories we have of you will help us all survive.
We love you Scottie.
