Chapter 17

Before you start reading, I just needed to tell you guys this. I recently found out about an anime called Blue Spring Ride, and I'm not joking you guys it is sooooo good! There are only 4 episodes up right now but I don't usually get emotional during a show until the middle of it, but the way the girl and boy had their tension and how it was obvious they want eachother, I teared up XD It's basically an everyday high school life romance thing, lol. I seriously recommend you watch this!! Ok that was all (: see you at the end of the story! ;)

"Why did she do this?!" Naruto puffed out and slid against the door after repeatedly banging on it, even yelling with the help of Hinata, though barely since nothing more than a whisper came out of her. Naruto got up and waved his hands in the air.

"Naruto, w-what are you doing?" She bended her legs and wrapped her arms around her legs so he'd have enough space to move around and not fall.

"Looking for the light," he replied. He sighed. "Can't find it. What kind of closet has no light?"

Hinata smiled. As he was sitting down, Hinata stretched her legs, forgetting that there wasn't enough space to do that, and accidentally his him in the stomach.

"OWWWWW!!" Naruto toppled over and groaned in pain, holding his stomach.

"O-oh my gosh! I-I'm so sorry Naruto-kun!" Hinata scrambled to his side and moved her hands around, not really knowing what to do.

Naruto then stopped groaning and planted his elbow on the ground, to rise him up so he was face to face with Hinata.

"Gotcha'," he whispered.

She froze and held her breath. They were practically at kissing distance, it made Hinata blush terribly. She was glad he couldn't see her reaction.

He laughed and stood up. Hinata backed away to the wall. "So-" Naruto started, but slipped on the mop and kneeled-fell on Hinata, making her squeal. She froze again when she realized where his head had landed.

After a few seconds of not moving or talking, Hinata said, "N-Naruto?"

"Yesh?"

"Could you m-move your face p-please," she said and looked away, feeling feverish. He pushed his face away with his hands and sat back against the wall.

"S-sorry."

"I-it's okay..."

Silence fell among them. Hinata hated this; she couldn't even make a conversation with him! Except when he fell, though that was accidental. She sighed.

"You okay?"

"Huh?"

"You sighed," Naruto said.

"O-oh," Hinata fiddled with her fingers, and noticed that it has been a while since she'd done that.

"I-i'm fine," she said. She was fine; excluding the fact that her love was unrequited, and that her confidence had grown just a little. Ino had been genuinely helpful with all this, but nothing had work so far.

"Hmm. okay, if you say so."

"Naruto have you woken up y-?' She stopped and sighed, pursing her lips.

She should've known Naruto was going

to leave early. He was the only patient she had to do that.

She put her clipboard down and sat, looking at Naruto's sheet. Why does he leave early anyway? Does he not care that he gets hurt? She thought.
