I finally told Kate the truth, the truth about me and Liam. Honestly i feel very light now, feels like a huge weight has just been lifted off my chest. She looks at me understanding my feelings and don't say a word. We just sit there in complete silence. When it starts to get awkward she speaks.
"So why did you and Li act like total strangers?" she ask as I knew that question was gonna come.
"To be honest Kate, I still don't know the reason for it, maybe it was because he told me to act that way" I say in a duh tone.
"Okay okay I get it, he told you to act like a stranger when you meet, but I think he was eight that time Lex, shouldn't you like 'GROW Up', why are you guys still acting like you don't know each other" she ask me.
"I don't know" I whisper looking downwards.
"Wait, what? What do you not know?" she ask raising her eyebrows.
"I don't know if Liam knows it's me" I say with tears starting to form.
"What do you mean you don't know?
"We never spoke and you know that, today was the first day we spoke after I left "
"So you're trying to say that you spent one year just looking at him wondering if he remembers you, and today when you finally spoke to him you didn't ask him and you don't even know if he does remembers you?" she speaks in an annoyed tone and I nod my head towards her.
"DID YOU HIT YOU'RE HEAD SOMEWHERE LEX, ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS, HOW CAN YOU BE SO FREAKING DUMB" she yells.
"Kate chill, don't scream like that" I panic.
"HOW ON EARTH DID YOU EVEN BECOME MY BEST FRIEND, omg I have to calm down, Lex you wasted one freaking year not knowing if you're so called childhood best friend remembers you?" she says staying calm.
"YOU FREAKING WASTED ONE YEAR" she screams loudly.
"Lex calm down" is all I say, okay I'm freaking out right now. Maybe I should run.
"YOU TELL ME TO CALM DOWN, HOW CAN I CALM DOWN, WHEN MY BEST FRIEND IS SUCH A DUMB PERSON" she scream again. Okay maybe I should run. I honestly have no idea how to calm her down right now.
"OMG LEX, CALL HIM RIGHT NOW" she screams, ugh it's getting louder everytime.
"Noo Kate I'm not doing that, just calm down will you" I speak.
"Calm down? Are you out of your mind? I can't stay quiet after knowing all this"
"You see that's the reason I didn't tell you anything. I know what I'm doing and you have to trust me. I need you to support me and not just yell so much. Please Kate just understand me this time, once I get close to him I'll ask him if he remembers me. I promise" I tell her praying she understands me and not yell at me again.
"Okay fine. I'm sorry for yelling that way, but I'll give you two weeks Lex to ask Liam about this and if you don't then I would be handling this situation in my way. Okay? No more waisting time."
"Okay fine." Is all I say, lowering my gaze, thinking how to do this. Damn Alexandra what on Earth are you even gonna do now. I think going towards my room closing the door.

I didn't want to wake up in the morning. I thought to just act like I'm sick and sleep for the whole day, but Kate just won't believe me as she know me very well. I didn't have any other choice, I had to go.
As I entered school my heart started beating fast. I held Kate's hand who was standing beside me, and she looked at me and gave me a faint smile, and I smiled back.
