(WHISPER'S POV)
I turned around and rest my head on Toothless. We did all this for nothing. Nothing...
"Whisper." Said Toothless.
I looked up at his beaming face.
"Why are you so happy? We just realized that we're the last in the world." I said.
He fixed his eyes on something behind me. "We're not completely alone." He whispered. "Turn around."
So I did as he said. I turned around. At first I didn't see it, but then... Hundreds of black, dark blue, and silver heads were watching us.
"N-Night Furys!" I gasped.
Soon all the Night Furys were walking up to us. Big and small, old and young, and from black to silver. They were murmuring among themselves.
"Peni!" Yelled a female Night Fury.
She rushed out of the crowd, She had beautiful black scales and bright red eyes. She ran right up to me. She started affectionately rubbing her head on me.
"I can't believe it's you! I thought had died with father!" She cried.
I immediately knew who she was.
"M-Meelo?" I gasped.
"Yes, it's me sister." She smiled.
I backed away from her.
"H-How? You died! I saw you die!" I cried.
"I never died, nor did Mom. But, she told me you did!" Said Meelo.
"I never died, I did forget almost everything though. Like, how my name is Peni?!"
"You forgot your own name? Wait, so what does he call you?" She motioned to Toothless.
"A viking named Hiccup gave me a name. I'm know as Whisper." I said.
"A viking!? Did he hurt you? How did you escape?" She gasped.
"No, no! I'm fine. He was actually not that bad. Toothless here was his dragon for years. Hiccup would ride him." I said looking at Toothless.
Everyone turned there heads to look at Toothless. He lowered his ears as they looked at him with disgust and hatred.
"How could a Night Fury stoop to such lows?" Hissed someone from the crowd.
"He's a disgrace!" Roared one.
"I bet he would roll over if a human told him to." Snickered another.
A large male Night Fury with green eyes walked over to him.
"I'm Esmeraldo." He towered over Toothless. "Why don't you go fly back to your master, pet." He sneered.
I jumped between him and Toothless. I growled as I took a few steps closer to him. He backed up as I met his height.
"Back off!" I growled.
He chuckled. "Got yourself a body guard, have you?" He smirked.
"That's enough from you Esmer." A rough, female voice spoke.
The crowd parted to let three Night Furys through. One was a beautiful silver female with crystal blue eyes. Another was a dark blue male with strange golden eyes. The last one was pure black female with purple eyes, her muscles bulged farther out then the others and she had many battle scars. As they walked over everyone bowed, even Esmeraldo. Me and Toothless quickly copied the others.
"Meelo, please explain who these newcomers are." The silver one spoke softly and gentle.
Meelo stood up. "They come from a land far away where vikings rule. This is Peni, my 'dead' sister." She said, nudging me. "And the other one is Toothless. He once lived with the vikings."
They all looked at me and Toothless. The black one gave Toothless a suspicious glare.
"You are all more then welcome here. This is the birthplace to all Night Furys. I am Aouli. And these are my sisters. " Said the dark blue one.
"I am Eirian." Said the silver one.
"And I am Layal." She spoke stiffly and without emotion. "Before you make yourselves comfortable I think we would all like an explanation to how you found us and why he lived among the vikings."
"OK, so it all started when this wacko..." I told her and all the other Night Furys of our adventures and my dreams that led us here.
(ELANOR'S POV)
My new house now had many more things in it. Like, fur rugs, sheets on the bed, lanterns for light, some clothes that Fishlegs and Snotlout created(Astrid had to bribe Snotlout for his sewing skills), and Mum's old bow has a special spot right above my bed.
I took the bow down from it's notch and started polishing it. I often did this. With ease the old cloth slid over the golden dragon head.
I jumped when something hit my balcony door with an uncomfortable thud. I set my bow on the bed and got up to go see what it was. I opened the door slowly. A yellow Terrible Terror was stumbling around the balcony. It was unknowingly moving closer to the edge, it could easily fall between the bars and hurt itself if it can't fly before it hits the ground.
I quickly ran and picked it up. It had something attached to it's leg. I pulled off a letter.
Elanor,
We acquire you and the female Night Fury back at my
island immediately. If you do not come as soon as possible, I
will be forced to send my men and attack your base. Come alone.-Aloysius Vlahakis, Chief of the Northern Stone Tribe.
Ugh! I knew it was a bad idea for Hiccup to give them this Terrible Terror. It is supposed to be only for an emergency. What would be so dire that they would risk a battle? The chief knows that his men would stand no chance against the dragon riders. I should go show this to Hiccup.
I ran out the door with the letter in hand and the Terrible Terror on my shoulder. It took me a bit, but I was eventually at his door. I knocked. I heard papers shuffle, then footsteps and the door opened.
His hair was messy and he had bags under his eyes. He seemed to brighten up when he saw me though.
"Is everything all right?" He asked with a forced smile.
"I just got a Terrible Terror from my old tribe, they seem to need help." I showed him the letter and he called a meeting in the clubhouse.
