(TOOTHLESS'S POV)

~~~~~~~~~~A few weeks later~~~~~~~~~~
Everything was perfect. The Night Furies have accepted Hiccup and the others were finally allowed on the island. Hiccup even sent that annoying Terrible Terror away with a message for Astrid. I'm with Whisper. And, our eggs are about to hatch. This truly is the best day of my life.
Crrrrkkkkk!
We watched the blue egg begin to crack with our eye glued open. Me, Whisper, Meelo, and the three leaders were there for the birth of those who will one day take their place.
A hole suddenly appeared in the egg.
"It's happening..." Spoke Whisper.
I gave her an affectionate nuzzle as we watched.
The black egg joined in and started to crack. The hole in the blue one grew bigger until we saw a yellow eye look out at us.
"Hey..." I spoke softly.
It squeaked and Whisper's smile grew larger. The blue baby started to bite at the shell until she had made a hole big enough to crawl through. After finally pushing its way out she stretched her tiny wings and stared at me.
"Oh! Toothless, what do we name her?" Beamed Whisper as she slowly approached our newborn daughter.
She took a cautious step towards her mother with a curious glint in her eyes.
"Hello...Ela." She said before bending down next to her.
"Ela... I like that name." I said walking over to them and nuzzling her.
Our eyes were snapped away from Ela when we heard a high-pitched, frustrated grunt. The black egg was rocking from side to side as thumping was heard from within it. I tilted my head, confused. As did everyone else, including little Ela.
TRPK!
Half the eggshell flew off and revealed two back legs that had been kicking. Out popped an angry looking black dragon with fiery red eyes.
"Well, he sure does have your looks Meelo." Said Whisper.
"And your temper!" I commented as we all watched him attack his shell in 'revenge for holding him captive'.
"Shutup!" Growled Meelo, proving my point.
She then walked over to him and trilled, "As long as you don't resemble your father, you'll be fine!"
I stared at her unamused.
"Well, it seems as if he was meant to be named Meelo." Said Whisper.
"Wait! Really? You're naming your son after me?!" She gasped.
"Of course. You're my sister!" She smiled.
"Oh great, now he really will turn out to be just like you!" Whisper stared at me coldly. "But, I guess that's not such a bad thing!" I added quickly.
They both smiled.
We then all looked over at the silver egg. It didn't move, It didn't rock, it didn't crack. It just sat still.
We waited in silence for a few minutes, waiting for any sign of life.
"Well, Whisper... Y'know sometimes eggs just don't hatch-" Began Aouli, unsure and hesitant about if he should even speak at the moment.
