I wake up still comfortably in Lucious arms, feeling well-rested. I slowly sit up, looking down at Lucious to see that he's still asleep, he's getting the rest that he hasn't gotten in the last couple of days. I watch the steady rise and fall of his chest as he takes in a breath of air then slowly releasing it.

Deciding to let him sleep longer, I slowly get out of bed, being careful not to wake him. I have to deal with those females again today, but they'll just have to wait because I'm not waking Lucious, he needs to rest.

I get dressed and leave the room, leaving Lucious to sleep.

I head down to the kitchen where I find Maggie cooking breakfast again. It's very nice of her to come by in the mornings to cook breakfast for them. Lucious and Tilda are going through a tough time with the loss of their father and the condition their mother is in. There's not really anything that anyone can do to make it all better, but by stopping by to cook them a meal, Maggie is showing them that she's here for them.

"Good morning." She looks over, giving me a friendly smile that I return. "Have a seat, I'll get you a plate." She starts to place food on a plate for me.

"Thanks." I walk over to the refrigerator and grab a water bottle before going over taking a seat across from her pup, who's completely focused on the food in front of him.

I look over at the door as a big male walks into the kitchen. I remember seeing him with the other men on our way here. He looks over at me with a blank expression, I usually receive a glare or growl from anyone here that I cross paths with.

The second he looks away, over at Maggie, that blank expression is replaced with a smirk, giving me a quick flashback of Lucious smirking face when I first met him. I look at this male, seeing that he and Lucious have similar facial features.

He walks over, stopping behind Maggie, placing a kiss on her cheek. He leans in whispering something in her ear causing her to giggle. Her cheeks turning a light shade of pink with blush, it's clear that he's her mate.

They seem really happy together, the way mates are supposed to be.

I remember Lucious making me feel the way Maggie is feeling now when we were inside that prison. I smile to myself, remembering the way Lucious looked at me, before telling me that I was beautiful.

Guys have told me that I was beautiful before, but that's just things guys say to get in your pants, but with Lucious, I knew he wasn't just telling me what he thought I wanted to hear. He really meant it. He thinks I'm beautiful.

Maggie places the plate of food in front of me, snapping me out my thoughts.

I began to eat, watching the male as he walks over to the pup. The male let out a low growl as he leans down playfully biting at that pup's neck, causing him to giggle.

"I'm going to go drop Sonny off at his den mothers, then I'm going to go help out at the dining hall. I'll see you back at the house later." Maggie walks over placing a kiss on the male lips, before leaving the kitchen with Sonny.

As I continue to eat, I look over at the male, seeing him take an apple out the bowl. He leans back against the countertop next to the sink, looking over at me as he moves the apple around in his hand.

"My nephew told me that you think the males and females that you fought are predictable and that I should've done a better job with training." He brings the apple to his mouth, taking a bite.
