"boss believe me your wife can handle it" jason held richard's arm.

after jason and richard arrived at the studio, mandy, maine's handler escorted them to the corner of the stage where he can see his wife

when he heard irina giving hints that they have a past he's still ok with that because maine knows that but when the woman started to question his motives of marrying her and making assumption that she's something special to him, that's when he attempted to get to his wife and act appropriately

had not for jason he would've stormed his way and drag irina out of the studio.

"oo nga naman boss, kalma ka lang dyan" mandy said backing jason up  "boss yang asawa mo hindi yan mapupuntusan nyang lintang babaita na yan. gusto mo pustahan pa tayo"

"ilalampaso ni mrs. faulkerson yan sir believe me"  jason confidently said  "ikaw nga hindi makaporma eh" jason whispered to himself

what? richard asked, thinking he heard something

"sir wala. sabi ko relax ka lang dyan. piece of cake yan kay mrs. f"

he knew she can. but he just didn't think it's fair that he's not there to support my wife.

"i'm sure boss alam ni maine yan. hindi naman tatapang ang babae kung hindi siya confident sa place nya sa heart mo"  mandy giggled  "boss tiwala ka lang sa min ni jason"

one wrong move irina. just one. you'll regret knowing my name he whispered to himself

true enough his wife handled the interview with effortless elegance.

when the show ended he watched as her wife thanked and acknowledged the people inside the studio from the staffs all the way to the audience

ang ganda talaga ng asawa ko.  he thought

while maine made her way to the backstage, irina caught on her before richard could even reach her. he was able to catch his wife's last statement.

it made him a damn proud husband.

but when maine turned around he noticed irina moved towards her so he walked to her swiftly

he's just in time to hug his wife's body when irina reached out to grab her. he enveloped maine in his body and with a disgruntled look he lashed out at the woman

DON'T YOU EVER DARE TOUCH MY WIFE

irina was stunned when she saw richard's indignance

NOT MY WIFE IRINA.

he declared firmly like a judge reading out a verdict

and don't make me say another word because i swear to whoever god there is, i know how to inflict pain if i have to. and believe me you're not gonna like it

that's the time she backed out. richard's rabid and outraged voice gave her what she needed to accept defeat.

she covered her face and slowly moved backwards and finally running away

after he's sure that irina was gone. he tend to his wife

love, were you hurt? he asked worriedly while examining her face and body

oa mo naman richard. pano ako masasaktan eh hinambalang mo yang katawan mo oh!

he heaved a sigh of relief. nakuha ng magbiro. ok na. so he hugged her
