The situation at school didn't really get much better for Sara over the next few days. People yelled stupid things like: "MOO!" when they passed her in the corridor. Others immitated the way she nearly cried as she left the cafeteria and it was all getting abit too much for Sara. So she decided she would do what she did best: write about it.

So, there she sat in the small newsroom of Coalville High, typing away at her laptop furiously.

Jasper interrupted her from behind and placed a carton of flavoured chocolate milk beside her keyboard. Sara looked up and gasped:

"Are you trying to make fun of me too?" she turned to face Jasper.

"Oh just shut up and drink the stupid thing!" he exclaimed. "How's the story going?" he asked as he pulled up a chair beside her.

Sara sighed and turned the laptop so that Jasper could read the words on the screen. He stared, looking shellshocked as he read the words over and over again. He looked straight at Sara with a puzzled look:

"Student wreaks havoc during milk mania?"

Sara threw him a sceptical look. "What?" she began. "Fine, is the alliteration too much?"

"Ooooookay," Jasper drawled as he pulled Sara away from the desk and edged his chair closer to hers. "Look," he said, taking her hands in his. "Just forget them, forget him. It doesn't matter what they think right? You say that all the time... Opinions are just opinions - that's all they ever are. They don't matter."

Sara sighed heavily and looked into Jasper's eyes. "J," she began. "You know I wouldn't ever lie to you right? You know that right?"

"Right, so...?"

"I dunno' you know. What he said kind of hit me hard. No-one knows who we are."

"Yeah...but they all read the paper. Ofcourse they know who we are."

"See that's the thing. They know who we are, but they don't know who we are." She paused to look at him again. "You see?"

Jasper shook his head and his long hair swayed from side to side as his shoulders dropped.

"No, okay, no! No I don't see. I don't see why you care, I don't see why it matters. Everyone that loves you already loves you for who you are. You don't need to worry about those stupid idiots and what they think. Everything is fine, everything was fine before you started caring about them. About what they say. Just forget it okay, you're loved for you. YOU!"

Jasper finished yelling at her and then looked up from the floor to see Sara's reaction.

Her face dropped and she looked deeply into his eyes. She then grabbed her bag and flung her arms in the air.

"Nobody loves me!" she yelled back at him and left the room, slamming the door behind her.

Jasper stood alone in the room, staring blankly at the walls that were covered with snippets of articles from the Coalville Times. Stories litterered the four walls around him, reminding him of the times when he started the paper with Sara. His bestfriend Sara. He bit down on his tongue and whispered:

"I do, Sara. I love you."
