Last chapter was VERY, VERY intense :o Sort of scared myself too :(

And I'm really sorry about the excessive swearing - it is the only way to completely express their characters. Rubbish excuse, I know!

Thank you so, so, so much for reading & for being patient with updates. It means the world to any writer that people read their work, so THANK YOU!

Sara had managed to avoid Adam that morning but it became impossible when she realised she had History class that afternoon. "Sh*t!" she heard Jasper exclaim as he approached her locker.

"What's wrong?" she asked, looking up at him. His eyes looked tired, his long hair a wild, bushy mess.

He gave her a sheepish look and shrugged his shoulders. "Long night... Couldn't really sleep." Sara nodded, shoving a few books into her locker.

"We're behind on the paper too," she said, not looking up at Jasper. "And who knows when Lana will be back."

"Yeah, I was gonna' stay back tonight after school. You game?"

"Mmm," she agreed, slamming shut the door of her locker as she made her way to her History classroom.

Noticing how distant she was, Jasper pulled her to the side and clutched her arm.

"Hey," she lay his hand on her shoulder. "What's up?"

"Nothing, I'm fine."

"Are you going to see dad tonight then?"

"He's not your dad Jasper!" Sara exclaimed, pushing past him as she took a seat next to the window. He walked after her and bent over in front of her so that his eyes were level with hers.

"What the hell?" his fist slammed down on her table. "Do you even know what you just said?"

"No, Jasper... I me... Jasper," she pleaded. "I didn't mean that!"

"F*cking save your sh*t for someone else Sara! No, you know what, I get that you're having a rough day - but you can't just turn on b*tch mode like that." Sara gulped, feeling as though she was being strangled. "Are you on your bloody period or something?" he searched her face for an answer, trying his best to reason with her.

"No."

"Then?"

"Nothing - I'm just tired! For crying out loud, can I not be tired for once?!"

"So... What's going on over here?" Sara and Jasper were interrupted as they turned around to see Tyler looking down at them. He was followed by Ryan who briefly murmured a "Hi" and took a seat beside Sara.

"Nothing," Sara brushed him off. "Just sit." Tyler began dragging his feet along the floor and Sara hissed at him. "Quickly!"

"Okay, okay!" he held his hands up. "What the hell is wrong with you?" he asked as he took a seat opposite her.

"You don't even wanna' know," Jasper stated, rolling his eyes and turning to face the board as he ignored Sara. Mrs Hardman walked into the classroom and shut the door behind her.

"Silence!" she bellowed and Sara noted that for an old woman, she certainly could shout. "I hope everyone is now in a group," her eyes scanned the room to find students seated in messy huddles both on tables and chairs.

No answer.

"Is there anyone who isn't in a group?"

There was a quite murmur as people looked around them to spot any stragglers and so, she took this as a no. "We like to sit on chairs Chloe," she announced, beckoning for the blonde haired girl to take a seat.
