~chapter nine~

Jacks p.o.v:
I wake up at 4:30am with Josie shaking me.
I grunt.
Josie: jack... Jack...hello!
I roll over: shhhh
She jumps onto my bed and wraps her arms around me: wake up we are going out!
I look at her and raise my eyebrows: Josie... it's 4:30... where would we go?
Josie: Macdonalds or just out for a drive!
I blink: seriously?
Josie: yes!
She grabs my hand and pulls me out of bed
Josie: come on!!
I put on some jeans and a hoodie. I walk out into the hall and she is standing there ready.
Me: how are you awake?
She tilts her head and shrugs and then quietly opens the door. I follow her out.

Josie's p.o.v:
Jack closes the door behind him and I smile.
Jack: why are we doing this anyway?
Me: well let's see... your girlfriend is coming over today... so that means bye bye jack! And also I will have to leave the flat...
He interrupts me: uhhh... what do you mean?
I roll my eyes: jack it's no secret that me and the girls hate Kim! And she hates me! Like if she saw me speaking to you she would rip my teeth out! Anyway I wanted to hang out with you! Just the two of us... like it used to be!
Jack: fair enough...
He grabs my hand and pulls me down the stairs. We walk out and both immediately regret it.
Me: fuck it's cold!!
Jack laughs: you don't say...
I cross my arms and start walking but jack puts his hand on my shoulder and pulls me back. He hugs me tightly and then keeps one arm around me to keep me warm.
Me: I missed this...
He looks at me and smiles.

By the time we got back from Macdonalds it was around six. No one was awake except Amelia. She was in the kitchen sitting on the floor on her phone. We walk in
Me: Amelia?
She looks up and smiles: I couldn't sleep... what's you excuse?
Jack: food!
I hit him: shush jack people are still sleeping!
He laughs
Amelia: so how's life?
I laugh: well it seems to be better then yours... sitting on the floor... really?
She nods and I sit down next to her. She rests her head on my shoulder
Amelia: is he still asleep?
Me: who brook? Yeah. Why?
She shakes her head: it don't matter...
Me: Amelia...
She looks up at me: we were meant to go out on a date last week... he canceled and then said he would do it yesterday and forgot... he just doesn't have time for me anymore and I don't see the point!
I stand up: right your coming with me!!
I pull her up and drag her out the flat: we are going to the tree!
The tree: a place where me and the girl used to go... if we wanted to talk... no one ever walked past so it was nice and quite. And as a bonus it was only a 10 minuet walk away from the flat.
When we get there she sits down with her legs crossed and picks up a daisy.
Amelia: I just don't know anymore!
Me: I mean relationship advice from me isn't the best... cos like *cough cough* jack and all...
She laughs: what's happening between you then?
Me: nothing... AYE STOP CHANGING THE SUBJECT!
We both laugh
Me: even though I don't give the best advice I do have some; brook loves you and everyone can see that... but he has just gotten to used to you being around! He doesn't need to impress you anymore... start talking to Andy or jack more then him... he'll get the hint.
I wink and she laughs
Amelia: yeah?
I nod: definitely!! You ready to go back!
She nods and we head back.

Amelia's p.o.v:
When we round the corner just before the flat we see brook standing outside with his phone. I look down and sees my phone is lit up with 10 miss calls from brook. Brook spots us and runs over.
Brook: where were you?!
Josie: we are at the tree!
Brook: why?!
Me: because we were why does it matter?!
Brook is taken make by the way I said it and looks at the floor: I was worried you weren't in the flat!!
Me: so... am I not allowed to leave?
Brook: Amelia Whats gotten into you! I am your boyfriend I....
I interrupt him: it doesn't feel like you are!
He looks at me and I walk off and walk into the flat.

Josie p.o.v:
Brook looks at me: what was that all about?
I shake my head: why you asking me! She is your girlfriend not me speak to her!
Brook: what should I do?
Me: hun you are asking the single one in the group... but if I was Amelia I would want you to pay more attention to me! Maybe...
I walk up the stairs and back into jacks room. Kim isn't here yet because it's only 8:00am and she comes at around 9:00 to wake jack up and take him somewhere.
Uhhh I hat Kim!
When I walk in jack sits up and smiles
Jack: so... what happened?
I sit next to him: nothing much!
He nods
Me: what times Kim coming round cos I will have to leave ten minutes before hand!
Jack shakes his head: seriously?
Me: yes!
Jack: she is coming at 9:30am
Me: okay... I need to make plans then!
Jack: you could always stay!
Me: and have my ass kicked for sleeping in the same room as you!
He laughs: alright well what would you do then?
Me: probably ask Harv if he's free if not then just go out by myself...
I can see that jack didn't like me saying I would hang out with Harvey.
Is he getting jealous?
I smile: I will come back when she leaves!
