Josie's p.o.v:
We walk into the flat. And I slowly close the door.
Harvey: why you being so quiet?
Me: I don't want people to know we are here until I am in your room...
Harvey: oh... you mean Kim?
I nod.
Kim: did I hear my name.
Me: fuck.
Harvey puts his arm around my waist and Kim rounds the corner.
Kim: oh Josie I didn't know you were back!
She smirks and I scoff.
Me: yeah of course you didn't! Just like you didn't know me and Jack were "sort of a thing"
Kim rolls her eyes: oh Josie. You little thing! Your always holding onto things from the past!
Me: maybe because your always the one that ruins it!!
Kim: I don't ruin it I make it better for other people!
I scowl: what's that supposed to mean?!
She smirks: hun it's no secret that where ever you are there is a disaster I am just saving people from that!
Me: fuck you Kim! You only want to win! But what's the prize?
Kim: everything that I have is the prize! Now is that Harvey cantwell?
I roll my eyes: no it's bob the taxi man!
Kim: well aren't you a piece of eye candy!
Me: who says that?!
Kim: me! Anyway... Harvey don't you know it's rude not to introduce yourself!
I scowl as Harvey reaches out his hand for a hand shake and she pulls him in to a hug kissing him.
Ugh!
I pull away from Harvey's arm and walk into his room slamming the door.
Me: shit! Fuck! Bitch!
Ellie walks out the on-suite and chuckles
Ellie: let me guess... Kim?
I nod and sit on Harvey's bed.
Ellie: what did she do?
Me: breathe! I need a restraining order on that bitch!!
I put my head in my hands and sigh.
Ellie sits next to me: what's up babe?
Me: everything! My life is a fucking mess! I am not speaking to my brother! I can hardly speak to my old best friend cos Kim had to have him!! And I am lying to everyone I live in my life because I can't bring myself to say anything personal anymore!!
Ellie: woah... woah... woah! What do you mean lying to everyone you love!
Me: I have a secret...
I start to tear up and Ellie pulls me in for a hug
Ellie: do you want to talk about it?
I shake my head: there is nothing to talk about... it's already been and gone...
Ellie: doesn't mean you have let go of it... tell me...
Me: Ellie... I was raped...
As I say that rye and Harvey open the door
Rye and Harvey: WHAT!!
I start to really cry and Harvey comes over to me. I throw myself onto his shoulder and he strokes my hair.
Harvey: Josie... are you okay... like do you need anything?
I shake my head: I don't need anything... just stay please...
Harvey nods. Rye crouches down in front of me and places is hand on my knee
Rye: Josie... I didn't mean to upset you before... you were right I had no clue what had happened to you!
I smile: I was out of line...
Rye: no who ever did that to you was way out of line!
I bury my head into Harvey and then sigh: I lost the child...
Rye: you were pregnant!
Me: yes! I wanted to keep it because I didn't want an abortion... but I wasn't stable... I wasn't coping... I drank... and did other stuff! I lost my child! I lost her!
Harvey: you knew the gender...
I nod: Emma... Lara... Beaumont... I lost her!
They all hug me and rye smiles at me
Rye: at least you have your family here now!
I smile back: yeah... your right.
I wipe my tears, get up and wipe myself down
Me: i was going to be a mum... I am NO way near ready for that...
Rye: you didn't need to be... who ever did that to you... they shouldn't have done that to you... do you know them?
I nod: but it doesn't matter! They are long gone by now!
