Narration~
The next day came in the blink of an eye and everyone was getting ready to go. All the children went to the same school, Ninjago City Junior High School and rode the same bus. But they were in different grades, Sker and Kabaz in 8th, May and Akidah in 7th, and Lari in 6th. They all did well in school as it came to their classes, but socializing was a challenge for Lari. It was hard for him to fit in and there was nothing he could do to change it. And in May and Akidah's homeroom class, they were getting a new student, but what they didn't know was that she was a trained fighter like they were.
May's Point of View~
Everyone was rushing to get ready to go here at home. Soon, we were all prepared and walked to the bus stop. When the bus arrived, all of us sat down and headed to school. The bus had finally stopped at the school and we all went down our separate halls. Me and Akidah went to class and pulled out our stuff. There was a lot of chatter going on about how our class was going to get a new student. "I wonder what the new kid will be like. Maybe we could be friends and do lots of fun things together." Said Akidah smiling. "Yeah, that would be great," I responded. Soon the bell rang and everyone sat down. Our teacher, Mrs. Soma came up in front of the classroom and got all of our attention. "Attention students." She said. We all looked in her direction and the room was silent. "Now, as you may have heard, there will be a new pupil joining our community today. I want you to make her feel welcome here because this is her first time being to a school like ours before." She explained to us. Then, there was a knock at the door. Mrs. Soma walked towards it and opened the door. A girl wearing a black hoodie, dark blue jeans, and grey sneakers walked in the class. She didn't look nervous like how most kids on their first day might be, but instead, she looked very intense. She had long brown hair like Akidah's and it was in a braid. Her eyes were a dark forest-green and were very focused. I heard whispers from the desk groups around us saying things about her. I was a bit agitated by them, but I didn't say anything about it. "Class, I would like to introduce you to our new student, Mia Hurst." Said Mrs. Soma. "Hi, Mia." The class said all at once. "Hello to you, fellow classmates." She said. "Mia, would you like to tell us a bit about yourself?" Asked our teacher. "Okay, I guess I will," Mia replied. The room was quiet before Mia spoke, "My name is Mia Hurst and my family moved from the small town of Stiix all the way here in Ninjago City. My last school was way more different from this one. At my last school, we're taught precise information. I was also enrolled in a combat school, to follow in my grandmother's footsteps. We were going to try and make our world a better place to live in, but she was taken away from me when I still lived in Stiix. And now, that's what I hope I can eventually do, make her dream come true." The room was dead silent before Mrs. Soma said, "Thank you Mia and I hope you can fulfill that dream you two had. You can have a seat next to May over there. Could you raise your hand May so Mia can know who you are?" I raised my hand and Mia placed her things down and took a seat.

Lari's Point of View~
I sat down at my desk and took out my stuff. I put my head down on my desk until I felt a small poke on my back. I jolted up and turned around only to see Kano, my main bully with a pencil in his hand and laughing. "Wow, you're even afraid of a pencil? I wonder how you're the ninjas' son because you're scared of mostly everything." He mocked. "I'm not afraid of a stupid pencil, I just don't like being poked with one. Just leave me alone, I'm not in the mood." I said. "Whatever weirdo. If you don't wanna be here, then why not go visit Morro in The Cursed Realm? You two sure have a lot more in common than you and the rest of your family." Kano said as he threw a crumpled piece of paper at the side of my head. I could hear the other kids begin to laugh at what he said. First period was social studies and it was really easy to learn, but second period was science and that was a bit more of a challenge. We were learning about meteorology and I was kinda struggling with that. It was harder to focus and understand it when Kano and most of the other bullies were in all of my classes, except for STEM. When it was time for lunch, we got in line and walked down the hall. Kids in front and behind me shoved and almost tripped me on the way. The teacher was far ahead of us, so he couldn't see or hear what was going on. And I was too afraid to tell him what the other kids were doing. The cafeteria was crowded with students rushing around. I grabbed a tray and my lunch. I usually sat alone at lunch and if I tried to sit with anyone, they'd move to a different seat or tell me to go away. I was alone most of the time at school. I sighed and began to eat. As I was eating, I felt a hard tug on the hood of the jacket I was wearing. That caused me to choke a bit on my food and I was coughing. There was laughter coming from behind me as I was still coughing. It was Kano and a couple of other kids from my class. "And here I thought that ninja were always alert around their surroundings, but I guess I was wrong." Kano taunted. "You're no ninja. You're a wimp!" Said another kid. I felt tears form in my eyes and a lump grow in my throat, but I wasn't going to let myself cry in front of them. I got up from my seat and asked a teacher if I could use the restroom. "Okay, but be back soon." The teacher said. I nodded and quickly went to the restroom. I went in one of the stalls and began to cry. I covered my face as more tears traced down my cheeks. After a minute of crying in the stall, I wiped my eyes and looked into the mirror. I gazed into my own eyes and asked myself, "Why can't you be like the other kids? Why...why are you Lloyd's son?" I kept looking at the mirror until I finally left and went back to the cafeteria. There was no sign of Kano and the others, so I sat back down and finished my lunch. The rest of school seemed to go by fast. I was at the back of the line and when we got back to our homeroom classes, there was a sheet of paper sitting on my desk, faced down. I sat down at my desk and grabbed the sheet of paper. And right before my eyes, was a drawing of me and Morro on dragons, and on the bottom of the picture, was my family. They were beaten and bruised. And on the top right corner, it read, 'You'll be just like Morro, a bad person. Haha! Loser!' There were mixed emotions tumbling in my head including sadness, anger, and hatred of myself. I immediately knew that Kano drew this awful picture, but he had already walked out the door. I shoved the paper in my bag and zipped it shut. Soon, my bus was called and I was the first one to walk out the door. I got on the bus and sat in my seat. Sker soon came over and sat down next to me. "Hey, what's up Lari? You look kinda angry. Did something happen in your class that made you feel that way?" He asked. "I'm fine," I said with kind of an attitude. "You sure?" He asked. "I said I'm fine okay!" I said trying not to let him see how upset I really was. "Well, if you really say so. But Lari, you know that you can me and everyone else at home what you're feeling. If you need it, we will help you. Okay?" Sker assured. I was quite. I nodded and said, "I...I know." He smile and wrapped his arm around me and shuffled with my hair. "Hey, quit it!" I laughed as he continued. "That's what I like to see. You're happy again, like you always were." He said as he let go. I chuckled and gave him a small punch on the arm. When we arrived home, I was surprised that no one else was home beside us. "Huh? Where is everyone?" I asked as I put my stuff down. "Don't you remember? Mom, dad, and Lloyd said they were going to be out and wouldn't be home until 5:45." Said Akidah. "Oh, yeah. They did say that." I said. I sighed and went to my room.
