May's Point of View~
The next day came by and after school, me, Akidah, Mia, my brothers, and whole crowds of other kids and people walked over to the Borg Theater. But on the way there, we bumped into April and Jonathan. "Ugh, watch where you're going losers." April said in a disgusted tone. "Whatever April." Sker said. "You better not be getting smart with my girl, noodle-boy." Jonathan sneered as he grabbed onto Sker's collar. "Let him go Jonathan, I bet he's gonna go to his mommy and daddy and cry." April mocked. Sker was shoved into Lari's way and caused all of us to stumble a bit. April and Jonathan both laughed at us as they continued on walking. "She really gets on my nerves." Said Kabaz. "And now that she's got a boyfriend, that doubles the annoyance." Lari added. "Exactly." We all said at once. We continued to walk towards the theater and when we arrived, we were all excited for the results. "Woohoo! You two made it on the list!" Lari shouted as we all looked at the list of who'd be in the competition. "I knew that you'd be. You're totally gonna win too!" Sker said. "Thanks, guys! I knew we were gonna make it!" Akidah said. "But I bet you didn't know that we also made it too!" April shouted in our faces. "Oh, we knew, we just don't care April." Kabaz said. They walked away and we all went down to our great uncle's new tea business, Steeper Wisdom. "Oh, hello young nieces and nephews. I didn't know you were coming. And is this a friend of yours?" Sensei Wu greeted us. "Hello, great uncle Wu. This is our friend, Mia. She came from Stixx and she's a trained fighter like we are." Akidah said. "That's very good. And Mia, let me properly introduce myself, I'm Sensei Wu. I'm Lloyd's uncle and the younger brother of his father. I've trained their father, Lloyd, and the other ninja. And I'd be glad to mentor you if you'd like it." Wu said. "Thank you Sensei. And maybe I'll come and talk with you about some martial arts techniques." Mia said. We all stayed for a while and had a few cups of tea and talked with Wu and the other ninja that were here for the day before leaving and paying. "Tell your parents that we said hi okay." Wu said as we were leaving. "Okay! We will!" Kabaz replied. We were on our way home when we heard laughing and mocking coming from an alleyway. "Huh? What's that noise?" Asked Lari. "I recognize that laugh, that's April. C'mon, let's go check it out." I said. We all went to where the noises were coming from and saw April and Jonathan taunting a small group of kids that were probably around the ages of 12 and 13. April had her finger and her thumb in the shape of an 'L' on her forehead and Jonathan called them names and mocked them. The kids were crying and huddled together. "April! Leave them alone!" I shouted. Everyone looked at us and Jonathan chuckled while April scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Well, if it isn't the ninja children, comin' to "save the day", I suppose." Jonathan said sarcastically. "Oh, I'm so scared! Whatever shall we do Jonathan?! The ninja brats are here!" April gasped, pretending to be afraid. "Don't worry about them, they'd never use their powers on us." Jonathan said as he pretended to sound heroic. We were all agitated by their remarks about us. Then, muddy water was splashed on April, causing her and Jonathan to stop laughing and gasp. I looked back and saw Lari with his hand out and an annoyed look on his face. "You little brat! You got disgusting water all over me!" April yelled at Lari. "Oh, c'mon, it wasn't even that much. And if you didn't want muddy water on you, don't be in an alleyway full of it." Lari said in a sarcastic tone. "You're dead, wind-boy." Jonathan said as he came closer to us. "Lay one finger on him, and you'll regret ever meeting us." I said as I stepped in front of him. Then, April walked up to me and immediately latched onto my hair and had her grip locked in. "Aah! Hey! Let go of my hair!" I screamed. "May!" The others shouted. Akidah grabbed April's wrist, trying to release my hair. The group of kids ran off in fear.
Sker's Point of View~
April had grabbed May's hair and because her hair was short, wherever her hand went, May's head followed. My sister grabbed onto her wrist and the rest of us tried to make our way to them, but Jonathan got in our way and smirked. "You think you get April dirty and not have to face me?" Jonathan asked as he laughed. He then wrapped his arm around Kabaz's neck and put him in a chokehold. "Not so tough are you now hot-head?! Huh?! You won't even fight back!" Jonathan yelled at him. "Leave him alone!" Lari yelled. "And what if I don't?! What's a tiny loser like you even gonna do?!" Jonathan yelled. Kabaz was gasping for air and his face was slowly beginning to turn blue. For Kabaz's sake, I punched Jonathan across his and he released Kabaz. He fell to the ground, on his knees, gasping and coughing. Jonathan stumbled a bit before regaining his balance. "You bastard!" He yelled at me. Jonathan charged at us and shoved me down. He then went over to Lari and latched onto his hair and slammed him into a bunch of cardboard boxes. I got up and punched him again, letting go of Lari. Kabaz got up as well and quickly went over to Lari, who was clutching his head and gasping. April still had ahold of May's hair, and had gripped onto my sister's. "Akidah! Don't worry, I'm coming!" I shouted. But before I could rush over to them, Jonathan got in my way and gripped onto my collar. "No, you don'[t noodle-boy!" He shouted. I used the power of smoke and disappeared, then reappeared behind him, shoving Jonathan into a pile of trash. I went over to the girls and tried to get April to let go of them, but she headbutted me in my left cheekbone, and Jonathan pushed me into a wall. And before my eyes, I saw Akidah get thrown into the side of a dumpster, her headfirst and with a loud bang. May was then thrown into the same side of the dumpster, this time, face first. AKidah clutched her head, screaming and crying. May's nose was bleeding badly and there were bruises on her cheekbones. A few tears fell down her face as well. April and Jonathan laughed before sudden smoke appeared. I could hear both scream a bit and grunts. There were clatters of cans and bottles as well. Once the smoke cleared, there standing in front of the two of them, was Mia. "Mia!" I shouted. She turned around to my sisters and rushed to their aid. I got up and clutched my right arm. Kabaz and Lari also came over. April and Jonathan ran off, calling us names and saying other things about us. "We've gotta take you home! Or back to your great-uncle's business! You're bleeding badly!" Mia shouted. We helped the two girls up and quickly took them back to Wu's shop. When we got there, everyone rushed to us and asking what happened. Cole and Jay went to the back and grabbed napkins and bags of ice while Wu, Aunt Nya, and Zane asked us what had happened. We explained everything to them. "Thank you for telling us and now, we can have a discussion with their parents about these incidents." Wu said. "But their parents always say that it's our fault when we never do start anything." Lari said. "That's odd." Zane said. "We're still going to have that discussion." Nya said. Cole and Jay came back and took care of May's nose and her and my bruises. "I'm going to call your parents and tell them what happened, okay." Zane said as he got up. I nodded. He called our parents and about 15 minutes later, they arrived worried and angry. The adults discussed the situation while we stayed quiet the whole time. Why don't their parents ever do anything about them bullying us or other kids, like apologize or ground them? It makes no sense. I thought. "How are you feeling May?" Kabaz asked. "Better than before, I guess. Just tired." She responded in a slurred tone. "I'm sorry guys." Lari said. "Huh?" We all said as we turned to him. "If I didn't splash water on her, then maybe none of this would've happened. I'm sorry." Lari said. "It's fine, and even if you didn't, I probably would've done it." I said as I wrapped my arm around him. "It's weird." Mia said. "What's weird?" Akidah asked. "It's weird that April and Jonathan's parents don't do anything to punish them for things they've done or how they always blame you guys for everything that happens." Mia said. "I guess some parents are just like that." Kabaz said. We stayed there, until April, Jonathan, and their families came over. The parents discussed until April's mom started yelling. April Jonathan mumbled some things to each other. Soon, the two families stormed off with their kids. Lloyd had his hand covering his face and was shaking his head. Everyone else talked about that arguement until we all went back home.
