Akidah's Point of View~
May and Lari came from down the hall and sat down on the couch with us. I looked up at the clock on the wall and saw that it was 4:45. "Mom, dad, and Lloyd should be home in about an hour. So, what do you guys want to do to pass the time?" Sker said. "I'm not sure, any of you got an idea?" I responded. "A game or movie perhaps?" Suggested Kabaz. "Okay, but movie are we gonna watch or what game are we gonna play?" Asked Lari. "How about the movie with all the criminals facing off with the witch? The one with the two clowns, the good shooter, the fire dude, and the girl with the soul-sword?" Sker suggested. "You mean Suicide Squad?" Asked May. "Yeah, that one." Replied Sker. "Okay, that's fine with me," I said. The others agreed to watch Suicide Squad and Kabaz turned on the tv and put it on.{Time Skip~}
"Hey guys, how's everyone doing?" Asked a voice coming in through the door. We turned our heads and saw our parents walking in. "Hey, and yeah, we're all fine. We were just watching Suicide Squad while you were out." I said. "That's nice, did you all have a good day at school?" Asked Lloyd. "Yeah." We all said, all except Lari. He looked down, trying not to get any attention from the adults. "That's great. Well, if you guys are hungry, you can have a snack because dinner won't be done for a while." Said Lloyd. "Okay," May replied. My mom and Lloyd went into the kitchen and my dad went back outside. "You guys wanna keep watching the movie, or do something else?" Asked Kabaz. "I'm going to go to train some." Said Lari as he got and walked to the front of the door. "Okay, do you want us to pause the movie and resume it when you come back?" I asked. "Nah, you guys can watch the rest, I already know how the movie ends anyway," Lari said as he put on his shoes and a jacket. "Okay, if you insist." Said Sker. And then Lari walked out the door, into the training course outside.
Lari's Point of View~
I stared at the course and saw that my dad, Kai was practicing as well. "Hey, dad!" I shouted to him. "Oh, hey Lari. You come out here to train?" He responded. "Yeah," I said back to him. Then, I began to train by practicing the new fighting skills my dad showed me. I used my wind on the practice dummies and on the other obstacles that were in place. I practiced my balancing on the stilts that stood high in place. I practiced on my Spinjitzu and Airjitzu. Because of all the extra training I did, my body ached a lot and my heart was racing. I took a short moment to catch my breath and then started back up again. I believed that if I trained hard enough, I would unlock my true potential and my elemental dragon. But my dad said that he had the same problem, he said that he was impatient of waiting until he unlocked his true potential. So, he trained a lot more to try and force it. But it wasn't until he saved Lloyd as a kid and that's when he discovered his true potential. I don't have to force myself to train this hard, but I had to learn to accept myself for who I am and then my heart would lead me in the right direction. Then, I would be able to fulfill the goal I've been longing for. But it was hard to accept the fact that I am different than everyone else. "Woah, careful Lari. You don't want to pull a muscle." Kai said. I didn't really pay attention to what he had said and I kept on going. My arms and legs were sore and I was breathing pretty hard, but I kept on pushing myself to keep going. I had been training for about 45 minutes now and only took one small break. I was so exhausted that I couldn't focus enough to use my wind. I decided to just practice on my combat and that's what I did. I was fighting the dummy when suddenly, a wave of dizziness washed over me and I felt my legs give out under me. I could barely even breathe and I started coughing again. And my right leg hurt pretty badly and I clutched it tight.Kai's Point of View~
I was watching Lari train and over the past few days, he's been doing a lot more than usual. While he was training, he took a small break then started up again. It looked like he was pushing himself to keep going when he wanted to stop. Then, while Lari was fighting against the dummy, I saw him collapse and I heard him begin to cough. "Lari!" I yelled as I rushed to his aid. He was holding onto his right leg and was breathing heavily. "Lari, are you okay?" I asked as I dropped to my knees and held him in my arms. "Dad...my leg...hurts..." He said taking in breaths between words. "I'll take you inside and Skylor can take a look at it," I said picking him up and carrying him inside the house. The rest of his siblings turned their heads and saw me coming to the couch, with Lari in my arms. They quickly moved out of the way and I slowly placed Lari down who was still holding his leg. "Skylor! Can you come over here and take a look at Lari?" I shouted. She popped her head from inside the kitchen and looked at us. She instantly came over and Lloyd soon followed behind her. "What happened to him?" Skylor asked as she knelt down beside the couch. "He was training and then all of a sudden, he collapsed and was couching. Then he clutched his right leg." I explained. Skylor nodded and asked, "Okay Lari, can you tell me where you're hurting?" Lari winced and responded, "My right leg, below my knee. And my chest is tight too." Skylor looked at his leg and slightly squeezed it. Lari winced again and shut his eyes tight. She quickly stopped and said, "Well, it seems like you might have slightly pulled a muscle in your calve." Lari looked at her with worry in his eyes. "Pulled a muscle? Is there anything you can do?" He asked. "I'm afraid not. You're just gonna have to stay off your feet for a few days. When you pull a muscle, it's like pulling a rubber band. If you pull it hard enough, it'll stretch out and take a while to get back into it's normal. You're lucky that you didn't actually tear it, or you would've most likely had to get surgery." Said Skylor. "Why don't you get some rest, Lari. You look really exhausted and maybe it'll help you relax your leg." Suggested Lloyd. Lari nodded and we helped him to his bed. He got into some comfortable clothes and looked really tired. "Can you wake me up when dinner's ready?" Lari asked as he laid down. "Sure. Now try and get some rest okay." Lloyd said. Then, we quietly left the room and shut the door.
